SPECULATION Who's in the BACTA tank??

Vader probably force choked a few too many senior officers, and it must be hard work inspiring awe and terror in the GFFA day in, day out. Sheeve, being the benevolent boss he is, probably felt Vader deserved some down time in his Imperial Spa. Goodness knows the guy's wound tighter than an eight day clock. And anyway, I'm sure I read somewhere Vader suffered problems with necrotic tissue where his artificial limbs linked into his suit, he's probably just getting a full body scrub.

 

This made my day. And is actually pretty plausible.

 

I agree, but reading it in the comics is one thing , seeing it on the big screen...now that's another. In the comics we all know that the action almost always is embellished for the story...at least that's been my impression. In post LIKE!

I'd think that Vader being in a spa is such a funny image...would certainly add some much-needed humor to R1.

...and then Vader (visibly damaged) emerging from a smoke cloud with his saber (humming and sparking) with his theme music swelling; that could be a nice visual.

No, they are just rumors so don't believe anything until you see the movie.

 

i hadn't even heard any rumors about it- i just figured they would use him because i'm assuming we'd see vader's face in the bacta tank?

 

I'd just wonder who the actor would be...would be cool to have Hayden Christensen back to redeem himself however the rumors right now are that JEJ has been cast as the voice of Vader so it seems like we won't see his human face.

 

Since they called in Ewan for a voice over in TFA, they might called Hayden in for a small cameo in the bacta tank and use another actor in the suit. With JEJ doing the Vader voice, it really wouldn't matter who was in the suit as long as they are the right size.

interesting to speculate all of this.. i really hope this film will hold us over long enough before episode VIII marketing kicks in middle of next year!

Maybe Vader needs repeated bacta tank uses? Like bacta therapy? I mean his wounds were pretty extensive, who knows? Maybe the Emperor needs to take a trip to that tank here and there after getting fried? I'd lean more toward Palps, since we see the royal guards, maybe he was the target of an assassination attempt that left him needing the tank? The theory that Snoke is in the tank is just too silly, so I won't even go there.

 

Well Snoke has already been confirmed by Pablo Hidalgo that he will NOT be in R1 but, from my recollection, Vader being in the tank initially originated on MSW by Jason Ward...also it didn't really look like a full grown human could fit in that particular tank.

 

Do you think they might be cribbing stuff off of Dark Empire?

 

Look at it again, I think the Emperor could fit in there easy.

Also, not pertaining to who's in the tank but the bacta tank itself; who thinks the tank is stationary? I think it would be cool if the tank ascended from beneath the floor while the cloak figure was entering the room.
