Correct. These two planets are the couch capitals of the universe. In fact, something like 80% of couches in Star Wars are made in Gungan sweatshops on Naboo while the other 20% can be sourced back to Coruscant, the biggest purchaser of couches by a large margin. That being said, some time has elapsed since the golden days of couches and we may see new planets that have somehow acquired couches of the Old Republic and perhaps repurposed them for even longer bouts of stiff dialogue and exposition.

Oh, definitely the two-headed announcer from the Phantom Menace pod race scene (maybe complete with his / their victory dance)! *shudder*

But seriously... I've always had a soft spot for Kamino. That doesn't seem to really jive with the visual style of the sequel trilogy, but if there were a way they could make it work (even building practical sets for interiors and miniatures for exteriors, where possible) and find a story reason to support it, I'd be up for that.

Most of this movie has been under wraps ...

That's literally how they made kamino in the pt on top of green screens .

Designwise the movies were very cool, and I won't bother seeing certain elements in the sequels. It's more about the tone and direction that I'm happy we went far away from the PT.

That's true - a fact I had forgotten until reading your comment.

I can't imagine Kamino would show up, though... unless General Hux were to take Kylo Ren's "clone army" comment to heart. But that was more a throwaway prequel reference than anything.

Or Hux goes there to try to start his own army against both the first order AND the resistance .

Less PT is the wiser choice IMO but I wouldn't mind if there's some non-intrusive PT stuff... like Obi-Wan's (Ewan) voice in Rey's vision. A battered battle droid in a scrap pile. The mention of a PT planet or character in passing.

I would love to see Ewan McGregor back as Obi Wan. I don't know if that counts or not.

I always smile when they use elements of the prequels in the Rebels TV show. Its rather well done IMHO. So seeing those elements used on the silver screen appropriately would also be welcomed.

I would like to see some battle droids or a naboo starfighter in th backgroun in a scene. The best designs of the prequels, or maybe de Nubian ship also.

with the new republic military crippled it would be interesting to see the new leadership consider using clones or battle droids to fill the gap.

I remember Lucas saying that the clones and battle droids were a prelude to stormtroopers but we got a new sheriff in town so if there is a need for it we might see it.

If I ran Disney, I would incororate a hundred prequel elements in the ST. As good as it was, TFA was really lacking in bringing the entire canon together, as opposed to just the original films.
Some very easy prequel references would be:
Use the word "padowan" again when Luke trains Rey.
Show some random battle droid laying in a pile of junk.
Use Christensen briefly as a Force ghost (if the story calls for it, but that depends where the story goes.)
References to the old republic with old classic architecture (this one is happening, from the Ireland sets spy reports have brought us last summer.)
Show familiar planets from the PT like Coruscant.

These are the ones I can think of on the top of my head...

Yeah it went from Clones -->storm troopers -->FO troopers but the battle droids were an offshoot from the trade federation...thats all canon so it would never be changed

Yes I'd like to see a character who was mentioned in RotS be in the ST. But alas, it's not a story that Disney would tell you...it's a Sith legend.
