The lightsaber coming to Rey's hand.

After spending the whole movie looking for a connection with others, being alone, waiting for her family to come back, she *finally* embraces her destiny and finds what she was looking for in the place she least expected. She's no one. She's just a girl. Just a scavenger. When she's first confronted with the lightsaber she rejects it. But then she finds who she is through this new connection she's formed, this new "family"... and she accepts it who she is and finds her place in the world.

And it's not just me,the audience I saw it with went nuts at this moment too.

This was the scene for me. The music ,the build up, the feeling this is what any of us would have done if someone was being taken away.

The flashback. It was the scene leading to the film that I was most curious about. Would it work? How would it look?
When I saw it I loved it - it left me wanting more (I still wish they showed the Vader/Luke fight from another perspective!).
I think it was powerful and emotive and did a great job in providing a glimpse into Rey's plight.
And just on a visual note, it was extremely powerful and captivating. Brilliantly shot and edited.

Theres so many .... I say the force vision is one, Anakin's lightsaber flying into Rey's hand is another, the whole freaking duel is another. I say every scene between Rey and Kylo...so intense...strong...their presence as they interact is really intriguing.

Without a doubt the final scene. No words, no special effects, no 'action'. Rey holding out the lightsabre to Luke as he looks at her intently does it for me. It is so powerful in its simplicity. In fact, I think Hamill gave his best performance of the saga thus far (and that's not a rip on his earlier performances). The scene said a million things without anyone uttering a single word.

Guys, a randomic thought, just because this is one of my favorite: When finn and poe are escaping they destroyed the turbolasers under the Finalizer, right? However in the next cut looks like they are escaping from inside the star destroyer. Is it a continuing error? Sorry my english, first time in the Cantina. May the Force be with you all.

Spot on. Rey's motivation for holding out the saber to Luke is consuming.

I'll have to add my voice to Han's death scene. While I was sad to see the death of a major childhood character, I was not surprised at all when it happened - well, maybe that they went through with it.
What got me was his last moments with Ben. This isn't some faceless bad guy - it's his little boy. My son is 2 right now, and that little guy is one of the brightest lights in my life. His smile and joy are so intense that they push all my everyday concerns away. Even when he drives me crazy and I get rightfully tired of his toddler crap - seeing him upset or hurting breaks my heart.
Han's last moments, when he looked at Ben with sadness and cradled his face in his hand, that was the moment that brought on some tears. I could project myself and my son into that terrible moment. Past the first ignition of the saber, Han's face didn't show pain, shock or betrayal - it was heartbreak for his son. To me, the look in Han's eyes and the touch to Ben's face perfectly captured the unspoken words "Oh, my poor boy."
Ford's performance and the tears very slightly welling up in Driver's eyes perfectly captured the emotion in this moment. Say what you will about the derivative plot or some of the editing decisions, this movie dominates the franchise in powerful acting and emotional performances.
