    Basically to summarize my expectations for character development:
    - Less helmet - ratio should be like 90:10
    - At least one instance of shirtlessness

    And yes, maybe they can throw in some instances of compassion, inner conflict, general goodness and gentleness, along some sad puppy looks, sensuous lips and seductive voice...
    Dangerous Dreamboat sums it up quite accurately really...

    This. Definitely this. We should start a petition for this.

    The only thing that could make this more perfect would be if Kylo grew some great man fuzz. Looking at past Jedi trends, power in the Force obviously grows in conjunction with facial hair, with humans at least. Surely that's cannon?

    Yes, yes, we should have a petition, but as they are 1/3 into the shoot perhaps it is too late for this episode I'm afraid...
    I'll have to disagree about the facial hair though. I prefer my princes to be facial hair-less, thank you very much. Adam's facial hair is usually very scruffy looking, like literally. I see the attraction on occasion, but actually it is the absence of facial hair that distinguishes Adam from Kylo/Ben for me...
    Sans helmet, sans shirt, big yeses to those, but also sans facial hair please.

    i gotta vote no on the facial hair too. not that i don't like it on Driver (i was honestly shocked he was clean-shaven in this since the only picture i ever saw of him before watching TFA was scruffied up). but i prefer like him clean as Ren Ben. maybe it's because he looks more like his father without it. also, it keeps him young.

    Today incidentally I was catching up reading on the Will Kylo be Killed off or Redeemed thread on the Force.net SW forum (I'm sometimes a masochist) and I got so pissed off and depressed by the miopic views expressed by the regular posters (=Kylo Ren haters) there that I needed a breath of fresh air. And yes, talking about Kylo Ren's hair always does make one feel better. :)

    He was clean shaven at Cannes because he had just been in Ireland shooting literally the day before and was returning (literally one day later) to Ireland for more shooting for VIII. That's basically his Kylo Ren look...
