Well, the first teaser cuts several scenes together that I think you may be thinking of. It mashes the scenes of Cass hiding from storm troopers(ep7), Vel with troopers in background(ep12) Dedra with her death troopers and several shots of turmoil on Ferrix (ep3 & 12)

I'm very picky, almost to the point of dismissive when it comes to Star Wars content on YT, but this particular feature I found to be really impressive. There's some great BTS stuff here.

So how many of you think that Luthen’s “ride”, his heavily modified Fondor Haulcraft is one of the coolest ships in SW? I need an owners manual book so I can see all of the cool “modifications” he did to it….

My brother watched all Andor, was thinking B2EMO could be K-2S0, maybe it just theory or I just think it. There always theory and people think of something. I like B2EMO but not fan of K-250. B2emo might get destory, unable to fix and Andor or someone save him by put it in other droid, which be K-250. It ever happen, will like B2EMO and still not into K-250, not sure why felt that.

So I’ve just finished rewatching the show, I after I watched it the first time I was convinced I must be missing something considering the level of praise the show has got.

I really want to like the show, I really like the character Andor in Rogue One, I love the serious tone the series strikes but I just find the show lacking. The show feels like 4 episodes at most stretched over 12. You could easily skip whole episodes and not really miss much.

Additionally I feel like you could remove the words Star Wars from the show, easily re set the story on Earth and remove the space aspects and just have it be about a guy on the run from the corrupt government and it wouldn’t really feel that different. This may not bother most people, but I want my Star Wars to feel stars wars like and for me much of this didn’t.

There are so many side characters I just didn’t care about, the worst been Syril Carn, who every time he was on screen I wanted to fast forward it.

The show is also meant to cover 3 years, we don’t really learn or see anything about the rebellion in that time other then they need money.

I also felt the budget constraints in this show even more then the other Star Wars tv shows, this rarely felt like a galaxy far away.

There are a few but I liked Meero is a great villain (despite the weird trousers) I think I enjoyed the Mon Mothma arc, and Luthens space ship was cool. But beyond that I’m struggling to love this show like I really want too!

Andor season 1 stretches over one year in-universe. Season 2 will cover one additional year per 3-episode block, for a total of four years, leading into RO.

you don’t have to struggle to love it if you don’t…interesting that everything you pointed out about not liking were things that I liked. For example I thought the budget on this was by far better than any other series, and it looked absolutely awesome and completely in line with Star Wars. BoBF looked cheap to me, much more so than Andor. But to each their own. So happy than Andor is part of this Universe now….

This reminds me of TFA, after 6 months the pundits said it was just like ANH. I think when something is new some people just go over board. ITS THE BEST STAR WARS THING EVER .

Andor for me is a good show, I'm looking forward to season 2, but everything you said about it not feeling like Star Wars is on point. It could have been called some other sci-fi show with a man on the run.

I've never watched the Logan's Run tv show but it could have been titled that... anywho, I'm really glad you had a chance to re-visit it and respond this way.

We are getting more Star Wars content that will feel like Star Wars ala Dave and Jon, but those guys can't work on every Star Wars show, so I hope the Acolyte is a great show.

I'm really enjoying TBB, I've watched the first 2 episodes 3 times (it might not be for everyone so warning for those that didn't like Rebels) , episodes 3-6 are supposed to be filler according to some youtube pundits that have watched it to episode 14.

But they say after 6 it gets really good. Here's hoping for more good Star Wars content.

Honestly thrilled you loved it. I really wanted to and I’m gutted I didn’t, I’m glad other people are enjoying though.

maybe season 2 will turn me around, fingers crossed.

You keep saying you really wanted to love it. That mindset can backfire. Expectation is only going to add pressure on yourself and the show.

That's true, but not really much I can do about that? It's Star Wars I always want to love star wars.... its star wars!

But expectations were one of the main reasons I gave it a re-watch as my expectations were a lot lower having not enjoyed it the first time through. I also read all the things others loved in the show so I had good things to look out for. Unfortunately it didn't help.

I never knew Logan's run had a TV show!! I'm gonna have to watch that I love the film!

I agree with you on instant reactions, people normally go over the board one way or the other "it's the best/worst thing ever" then in time opinions mellow and we have a more balanced point of view. Which is why I did try to let Andor simmer with me and give it a rewatch before I made an opinion.

Yeah, the Acolyte is something I'm really looking forward to. The premise, the cast the time period everything about it excites me.

I'm enjoying the Bad Batch, for me not quite as good as Rebels or Clone Wars, but I love those shows so saying it's not as good is in no way a slight, it's still great

It’s all about perspective imo. We are all Star Wars fans. It doesn’t mean we have to go into it wanting to love it. It’s perfectly fine to be a SW fan and like things to different degrees, and even not like something at all. It can be frustrating when you see others enjoying something you didn’t, but if this didn’t work for you that’s perfectly fine. Don’t beat yourself up about it.

One of the side effects of the polarizing political discourse we see in the United States and around the world anymore is you have only two cards you're allowed to play: LOVE IT! or HATE IT!

It's entertainment, which means it's totally subjective. It's bound to strike some people differently than others. I love this quote from @Josep5349:
That speaks to ALL Star Wars films and shows. My own love of Star Wars sprung from being blown away by ANH and TESB back in the day. But that said, there's been a lot of SW content that left me "eh." But when SW DOES click for me, like with The Mandalorian, it's top-tier entertainment. I dunno about the rest of you, but when that magic happens, I can live with the other stuff that has me saying, "I must be missing something here."

The magic hits everybody different. That's the nature of entertainment.

Its not just in the US, unfortunately. But I agree 100% you are not really allowed to have a middle-of-the-road point of view these days which is a sad state of affairs.

I like your quote on Star Wars Magic I do 100% appreciate it when I feel that magic, but equally I will always be a little bit sad when some new Star Wars content comes out and I don't feel that feeling.

I know it is heresy to say this, but I would prefer not to see Leia in Andor S2.

Actually, it would kinda go against continuity after Bail and Mon's conversation toward the end of Rogue 1

Leia is already doing her bit for the emerging Rebellion as we saw in Rebels. There’s no reason she couldn’t appear in some way, however I’d probably prefer she didn’t.

Leia was the least developed character of the OT's big three. Luke was at the beginning of his journey in A New Hope while Leia was already who she was meant to be. It's arguably overdue if they show us how a member of the senate becomes a rebel princess, and what it does to her.
