    I bet I (and a hell of a lot of people including on this forum) know more about Star Wars overall than she does. The only thing she knows more than me is VIII (and maybe some IX stuff but she said Rian Johnson wasn't telling her about IX.)

    She is a big Harry Potter fan, unlike Star Wars.

    Does she really say we will find out in 8 her her parents are? This reminds me of when Adam Driver said 8 will be like TESB in tone but he didn't mean it will be like TESB. Just different.

    She's just saying if you wanna know wait and see it may be in 8 it is revealed.

    Something's telling if she's related to anyone in the SW universe, it may be Kenobi; not because it would make a good story, but from a marketing/financial standpoint. It's very possible the third "standalone " movie will be Kenobi (with McGregor), so making Kenobi part of Rey's lineage in VIII will set it up nicely for the standalone to explain how this lineage came about. I could be very wrong, but that's just my take. I don't believe these "standalones" are really standalones. They DO connect to the other films. I mean Rogue One is about how they got the plans to the Death Star which leads and connects to Episode IV. There is a Han Solo film coming about his life prior to the original films. It all connects in SOME way. I believe "standalone" is just code for "prequel", as they are in many ways that; Disney/LF just doesn't want to jinks themselves using the term again. lol Either way, looking forward to these films, especially R1. Then bring on Ep. VIII. I'm open to any other theory if it's done well, but again, don't think that's Disney's/LF main focus.

    Your reasoning on Kenobi does have some merit. The "standalone" moniker has nothing to do with prequel though. "Standalone" is meant to convey a single story not requiring any follow up story. It just happens the standalone movies are currently taking place in the "prequel" time period.

    I hear what you are saying. We all have such different interpretations on how we see the standalones.

    I just hope for a great story that is well done, develops the new character arcs and honours the OT characters, and isn't hokey! lol

    There's been some speculation about who dies in Rey's forceback vision. Was it a clan leader or a member of the Knights of Ren? The Force Awakens credits the actor a member of the Knights of Ren, but apparently that's a mistake.



    Not sure what this means, but Rey sees someone with a red lightsaber kill someone who isn't a member of the Knights of Ren.

    lots of people have access to IMDB and can change details pretty easily; i would hope something as silly as "Nuke Skywalker" is just some troll having fun.

    Probably right. However, you'd think Lucasfilm would watch their IMDB listings with scrutiny (if not for anything else than preventing spoilers).

    Yeah the one with the red lightsaber stabbs this guy. He was going originally by the code name clan leader, this scene is the clan vs. KoR. So I think the clan is the people who were trained by Luke, the dead bodies lying on the ground.

    unless he had hair plugs when he had his head shot done, or the production of ep8 has been so stressful he's developed widow's peaks, i doubt it's the same dude.

    Nuke Skywalker is just some fantasy IMDB thing.
