No, this is scary to see people lose their logical. If Abrams said Rey and Leia never met each other, they will find a way to explain that in fact, he said that because they met each other.

    And this for everything.

One last thing Luke has blue eyes and Daisy brown ones. If Luke is the father, the mother has brown eyes.

Green is Ok but not brown.

This works like that Brown / Blue / Green so if you have two genes Brown / Blue you have brown eyes. So Every parent has to be Blue / Blue or Blue / Green

If you have Green eyes you're Green / Green so basically it depends of your wife. She's Brown Eyes so she's blue/brown and she gave a blue, so your baby is Green / Blue and his eyes are blue.

But Two people with light eyes can't have a brown eye baby.

If people with colored eyes has a kid then that kid will have brown eyes 75% of the time...if one has brown then yes she can have colored eyes but we won't know unless we know at least her mom I'd think to sway the least .

Christ, how did it come to this? :p
I guess it is better to be worrying about eye colour than we were about eye lines in the PT...

Well thus far today I have been schooled in how planets can move through space and how eye colours work.
Problem is, I still don't understand either so I'd best just get put on my Plagueis tin hat and get some sleep.

What I don't get: Rey thinks of Luke as a myth yet Ben saved her from the Knights Who Say Ren.

This could be true, but it's far from being confirmed.

I see what you mean based on TFA there are things for and against and some of the things against could make it very incoherent. That being said if they explain it right they can have it work. Provided that's what they want from there story.

For example if the flashback that Rey are experiencing are false memories planted there after a force mind wipe that yes maybe even Luke could have done.

Think about this... What if Luke was not in the best place relationaly speaking with Han and Lei after Ben massacres the Jedi.

    Evidence:
1 - When Han first meets Rey and Finn and they tell him that BB-8 has a map to Luke, Han stops in his tracks. From my perspective the look that Han has is sad and like he hasn't seen his friend in forever. This could mean many things... But when Han says "Yeah... I knew him." This implies that Han either believes Luke to be dead or that Luke isn't the same guy that he knew It could also just mean that he hasn't seen Luke in a long time, and that last they met he didn't know when he'd see Luke again if ever.

2 - Leia didn't go with Rey to find Luke.... Call me crazy but old and the General of an army aside, If I am Princess Leia and we know where my brother is
i am going on that trip. I believe Leia would have. Her not going with Rey to me is very out of character. So what could this mean. Well maybe she is not strong enough to make those kind of adventures anymore (She has the force I doubt she couldn't plus I've seen women older than her who are very spry). Okay so maybe like I am suggesting maybe because of what went down, what ever it was, put distance between Luke Han and Leia.... It would make sense to me that Luke's shame would drive him to move his child away from his life and his world so putting her on Jakku does make sense to me. especially if there was a deeper Force meaning that we couldn't comprehend.

All that aside I do understand what you mean though.

Personally I believe without a doubt that Rey will be Luke's daughter. Although I admit it isn't the only way the story could go down.

Finn Could be Luke's son, and there is evidence to suggest he is force sensitive. It would be a change from the typical Star Wars story line for a Skywalker.

Another possibility is that Ben Solo could make a shift to the light and be the Skywalker hero.

Whatever the answers is, it is my opinion that because of the fact that this is the Skywalker family saga, and they plan on making X XI and XII after episode IX, there does have to be potential for another Skywalker generation. That is all

There is a very logical reason why she does not go to find Luke and why Rey does. In the book Rey's Story, there is a scene where Leia talks to Rey about her (Leia) not choosing to train as a Jedi and how it will be Rey's choice alone to decide to go train. Which ends up being that she will and why she goes to find Luke. This is also supported by Leia telling Rey "May the Force be with you" before Rey leaves.

As for Leia not going it seems to me to be pretty simple. She is the leader of the Resistance. The New Republic has just been almost completely decimated and ther is going to be war with the FO. She has other important duties that must be tended to and she is hoping Rey, Chewbacca and R2 can convince Luke to come back and help.

I see your point there... I didn't know about that conversation in the book, and in the movie they don't really deliver that idea well.

Agree. At the beginning that was sort of disappointing since I'd like Leia to become a Jedi too - blame the Legends - but the way they have developed her story in the new canon (including "Rebels Season 2", "Lost Stars" and "The Princess, The Scoundrel and The Farm Boy") shows that not following the Jedi path has been her choice. It takes me back to the quote from Harry Potter: "It is not our abilities that show what we truly are. It is our choices."

Rey's Story ended up not being very good.

What ended up happening is that It's written for little kids and removes things like subtlety because kids are dumb. Kind of like a sub-Junior novelization or book. It often veers in its own direction and omits key things like Han tutoring Rey and offering her a job. The images are pretty nice, though.

What exactly was omitted that would have been important to the actual story ?
