Sorry I thought you were asking why it came up.

But Rey is on Jakku that it is known to shield from the force. That might also apply to the 1st Jedi temple.

I have no idea about Leia but clearly the idea is problematic.

You seem to be confusing canon with your interpretation of vague canon details. Sure, you interpretation could be correct, but it could also be wrong.

I like your theory, but I don't really care for the huffing and puffing like your theory is 100% settled canon. It is not.

I deny anyone's right to relativize Snoke's influence on Ben. Its a canon, your vanity is problem I think.

I will be at least gratified after been politely served with information like I gave you ( since you dont obviously read novels)

Or you want me to burn my books I payed for so we can discuss on your level?

I still expect your answer on THIS link below,

It is not shame not to know something , and speculate (which I like to do), but in this case(Snoke-Ben influence) its rock solid fact-----you didn't know it says so in the novels and its Ok, that doesn't make you stupid, just naive to underestimate the ammount of time I invest in reading SW material.

I think that you make a compelling case. What might make someone hold back on agreeing with you is that it only shares Leia's perspective and how she FEELS things have occurred. The point being she might be right or she is scapegoating Snoke freeing her son from responsibility. Or both.

Thanks, It can not be interpreted on any other way :

So Snoke was watching our son.
Always,” she told him. “From the shadows, in the beginning, even before I realized what was happening, he was manipulating everything, pulling our son toward the dark side.”(Aftermath, the first novel).

And this same happening , remote Snoke's influence on Ben from the beginning, is referenced and further elaborated from different perspectives on at least 4 occassions in the Aftermath novels to my count.

If it will be ment to mean anything else, or later be shown to be delusion of Lea,this will be mean from the side of authors, intention to literally delude Star Wars fans.(readers), and again if it is ment to delude us, why going into such details for instance in one page long description of dark side entity influencing her fetus, after that clearly defined as Snoke by the words of Lea.

If that will be shown was delusion of Lea, many people will never buy and read new Canon book ever, I will cretainly not.
    -------------------------------
This for me is a Canon now.

What is my theory based on that facts is that this Lea's insight was known ,some years later, to those people(whoever they were) who left (hide) little Rey on Jakku, paired with again information from that same novels that Jakku is strange planet with energetic "active and alive" Planet core.
It says Palpatine was desgusted by the fact Jakku's Planet core has a "spark of life", implying properties of Light side of the Force, or just Force emanating from planet's core..Jakku is also referenced as "alive planet, not just dead rock floating in space".

Snoke watching Ben isn't in Aftermath, it's in the TFA novelization. The novelization is only canon where it aligns with the movies.

I will be starting the first Aftermath book soon. I will definitely keep a close eye on this issue. I don't disagree that you might be right. I simply hesitate when there is only one reporter, Leia, talking about what she feels is going on. Her speaking about things 4 times still share her interpretation on very subjective matters.

Does the novel repeat this accusation that Snoke did this independent of Leia's view?
Does the novel show Snoke actively influencing Ben or just rely on Leia's reporting?

You are likely right but the evidence you have showed hasn't shown that Leia's feelings are correct. Its not a dis on Leia she loves her son and might consider it easier to blame Snoke than accept that her son bears full responsibility. Having multiple possibilities or mixed possibilities of interpretation makes for good writing not deluding readers.

You can say 100% Leia believed Snoke influenced Ben even in the womb. Now I am tempted to believe her but I can't call that 100%.

Lea tries to explain to Han that Ben has been influenced from his birth by a Snoke, and in later novels it deepens to description of Snoke influence on him while still as fetus.

I understand the problem, and implications of this.

If Snoke is able to influence(and sense) Force sensitive persons troughout the Galaxy the general story plot almost inevitably opens like a book.

Than any Force sensitive person who knew Leas' report will have nightmare to hide his or some other known force sensitive child from this remote predator.

    But how to do that?

How about left it on a large anomaly of the Force field, which Jakku exactly is. Yoda says that Force surrounds living beings, and if Jakku's core is alive ( says so in Novel Aftermath) than Jakku is surrounded by a Force field.

But,also, please look on this thought:

My personal feeling is that this entire story gives justification for terrible tragedy that happened to Kylo, to became puppet and patricidal monster.
I think that Story group is preparing stage for Klyos' redemption. Kylo didn't just choosed to be Darksider and evil by his own will, he was predestined, influenced by Snoke. In the book says he, as early as fetus , was unrest, troubled, already there.
So Kylo is a Snoke's manipulated victim .

.....at least people who want Kylo's redemption should like this post for I am (for those who do read what I say) strongly proposing they are preparing to justiffy Kylo's acts later in his life, and make his redemption even greater.

That is some really free interpretation of the Force and Jakku. The actual quote of the novel says this:

The fact that the planet's core is still alive does not equal some protective Force field. Every living planet would therefore have it. That is not how the Force works. There is Force on Jakku that encompasses everyone living there, but it is not different than any other planet. Jakku on its own is special because of the ancient Observatory Palpatine used to further his explorations into the Unknown Regions and 'clean the board' by destroying the Imperial remnant and the Republic by causing core chain reaction. It was nowhere stated that the planet itself has special Force traits.

It says also in other reference that Planet is alive, entire planet, and is not just a Dead rock in the space, so no ordinary planet. Jakku was fertile and wet millenia ago, than something happened and is life essence retreated into its interior.

"Some have referred to the planet as "alive" when normal planets are just hunks of space rock."Aftermath

I will try to find the page where I read this .I read physical paper books no ebook, I am sure I got this reference read somewhere..
We have other confirmation of extraordinary status of Jakku. (Aside from reference that what's in the planet core disgusts Palpatine-strange that Sith disgusts planet cores ....)..

    anyway..

Palpatine knows it holds essence of Life, in fact stored Energy, which is not named but I find it logic it is a Force, and since it disgusts him, in case my logic has not became broken it means only one thing - manifestation of Light side.

Palpatine orders building of a shaft that leads to planet core, which will be used to destabilize planet's core and make it explode.

Now that would be done by combination of common Technology and Dark side alchemy or Dark side technology..Galliux Rax at the end ritually sacriffices Tashu, throws him in the shaft together with Sith artifacts to destabilise planet core. ...

.this, at least for me, indicates special properties of planet's core linked with fenomenon of the Force..

Unlike Snoke's undoubted remote influence over Ben as fetus, this about Jakku is surely not so definitive in the books, but claim that Jakku is anlike other planet is I think bold position.

I'm just saying there is a lot of indications and interpretations and very little evidence that Jakku is special in the Force. If anything, the event that killed the verdant world a thousand years ago and that Palpatine deemed important might make him be disgusted by the essence of potential renewal of that life - because it's of the Light, but that still doesn't make Jakku special in the Force or indicates some kind of Force field.

Tashu and his Sith artifacts indeed start the chain reaction in the core:

But to me that only says that the energy of Sith artifacts destabilized the core, not that the core is special in any way.

The only place I found that particular quote is a reddit thread, but I cannot find anything in the books. Do you at least have any idea which of the three books was it in? The logic says Empire's End, because Aftermath only has one interlude on Jakku and Life Debt only Prologue and Epilogue.

Is it that I read it in this thread instead in book? Now you shaken me I must confess I did read that thread you listed so I possibly blended what I did read and this conclusion. However I am sure there is a refeference planet Jakku is" not just a rock in space", it is mentioned somewhere in the book.

Planet inhabitans Anchorites were millenia ago Light-side oriented, than the planet was full of life on its surface, but as the planet surface became more inhospitable (and its life essence became reservet to its core) those Anchorites addapted Dark side practices. I find this a story about something happening on its surface in a way of the influence of the Dark Side, while core retained its Light side former self. Why would inhabitans of the planet Change Side of the Force (affiliation) paralel to what happened to planet itself?

I must admitt you did put an new perspective on this to me .

There's no need to get mad online because I don't agree with McDarmid Canon. As you can tell from the responses to your posts there's plenty of grey area here. It's still vague as Pablo Hidalgo said. That my original point. Agree to disagree, but you could be more friendly about people disagreeing with you.

Oh, I read the novels. You assume too much.

She nodded. “He knew our child would be strong with the Force. That he was born with equal potential for good or evil.”
“You knew this from the beginning? Why didn’t you tell me?”
