My theory is growing up <3

It would be a lot easier to follow on film, think about if you had to describe the Vader twist in just words

"So ya know the main villain? Well turns out he is actually Luke's dad, but ya I know Obi-Wan said Vader betrayed and murdered Luke's dad but it turns out he was lying to protect Luke from the truth. Vader somehow knows Luke is his son somehow, ya I know the Imperials would probably know where Luke is. Ok I know we have a really solid source that says the twist is Obi-Wan killed Luke's father, just trust me on this one"

 

Whatwat whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Here's a new theory:

Palpatine cloned Anakin and created Vader.

Luke's real father is still a torso and captived in the eeeeeeevil castle.

Ok, time for more speculation, this time about the Character(s) played by MVS.

No skimming allowed.

WHAT IF...

MVS's character is watching over Rey. It is rumoured that this is true and early rumours also suggested that once he was aware of 'the saber' that comes into her possession, he contacted 'someone' to report this find...in secret. Now MVS is a BIG name. He's portrayed villains and heroes throughout his career. What I am going to suggest is a "kind of" nod to a character he played in the Exorcist. Please bear with me! TIDMADT *cough*

There has been a lot of talk/speculation about resurrection over the years that could make it into the films as well as in the EU. Could it be that MVS (codenamed "the Vicar" in TFA) is actually not all he seems. Could this "nice" guy actually be watching over Rey for someone who has been speculated about for 96+ pages on this very forum???

Andy Serkis - "zombie-like' "an old man raised from the dead" "who's been through stuff" has pretty much been confirmed to play a mo-capped bad ass. I am beginning to think that Serkis is using this "Vicar" played by MVS to watch over this force sensitive girl as she poses a threat/could be used to serve the Dark Side. Once MVS reports that she is on her mission to find Luke Skywalker, something happens. MVS allows the resurrection of a fallen Sith Lord to use his body to awaken. Has he made a pact with the Devil? MVS is very old and has possibly been kept alive ("He could keep the one's he cared about, from dying...") by this Ancient Sith. Yes, I'm saying MVS's appearance will change from "a nice old man' to the earlier description of Serkis' character, and Darth Plagueis is reborn.

A Palpatine into Sidious-esque transformation takes place.


Once again. I will put on my armour, back off into the shadows and try not to let the potential abuse upset me. It's just a thought as we are hearing very little about Serkis and MVS. But for me, this makes sense and is a POSSIBILITY!

 

Max is a Rebel named Major Ematt.
Darth Plagueis is only mentioned and thats it.

George is wrong in saying"they aren't using my treatments." They are going with some of his story ideas. It was his idea to have a son of solo turn to the Dark Side but not know he was his son then kill Han.
BB-8 and the wampa saber are Georges ideas too.

 

I don't doubt that for a minute. The fact is though Mrs Semi, you have nothing to back up your "findings". Have a chat with Jason Ward, I'd like to see that.

 

While I don't have photo proof, some of ward's findings on his site line up with what I'm saying.

 

Just curious, where did you hear what George's ideas were? I'd love to read what he was thinking!

 

besides what I just shared, George wanted Plagueis to be the villain but Bob iger, and jj didn't want it. They created Serkis's "unnamed" character as Vader's apprentice but Vader had him killed when he found out Luke was his son and planned to make Luke his apprentice. This gets fleshed out in marvels Darth Vader comic but not until next year.

And Serkis's character didn't die as Vader thought but he found holocrons to finish learning the Dark Side and eventually train kylo.

How does everyone feel about this most recent report about MVS being Boba Fett in TFA? I suppose it would link up with the rumor of his character being present throughout the PT and OT. Personally I don't want this. To find out that Boba was killed at a young age and had his identity assumed by an imposter is a story that I just can't get behind. But also, why? Why would you want to assume his identity?

 

I would think assuming Boba's identity would be a great move. Think Princess Bride. You would get the notoriety, the respect, the contacts, and most importantly the contracts AND all without having to do the heavy lifting.

Makes sense to me. I would do it if I were an apprentice level bounty hunter waiting for my big break.

 

It doesn't really bother me that they make a new story for Boba Fett. I agree with the Princess Bride Pirate Roberts thing. They are right about George Lucas really dropping the ball on the character. He tried to get him involved in the PT but it was still kind of flat. The history we know of Boba Fett was stuff from the comics that are now obviously "legends". That's why I don't mind. They are making a story for a character that technically doesn't have much of a story now anyway. I will say though Disney actually looks like they aren't scared to not play things safely.
