    Perhaps this nothing; MvS is also 6' 4" tall...taller than any of his (potential) predecessors in that character.

    If they don't go in the direction I'm saying I will definitely have fears about it turning out a bit ridiculous. It seems really hard to force some logical way that switch could happen pre OT and portray him as mentioned.

    Putting him in a wheelchair or some other device similar to that as an injured old man would solve that problem though. We will have to see in TFA.

    ...and Morrison (5" 7"), and Bulloch (6'). MvS is nearly half of a foot taller than Boba fett...another reason that I can't buy it. "Gee Boba, drinking your milk?? You seem so much taller today!" :)

    I have to agree that the best time to replace Boba is after the sarlaac. That is just not the idea I got from the article. If the Boba movie goes into how it happens then the clone Bobawho was a real ppsychopath could be replaced by a less evil protagonist. He still has history and street cred of disinigrations but going forward not so much.

    I wonder how they hint at but don't directly state he is/was Fett? Maybe if he is a junk collector they have a scene where he's digging through stuff in his hut Obi wan style and we see the helmet under a blanket he lifts up for a second or something? That would definitely get some vocal reaction out of the audience.

    And JUST PERHAPS MvS killed Fett in an argument over a relic or artifact......and he ended up with his helmet and/or armor. @sbs87.....THAT I could buy!!

    It would also make sense as to why he could retire quietly. He's just a regular guy without a famous face. The old boba would have had a face recognized by a lot of people as a clone and clones didn't age well.

    Maybe the thing he is sitting on is like I was suggesting. They put him on some type of apparatus because he was injured. That's why he stopped being Fett and that's how they keep us from saying "He's too tall!"
