    Now there is an angle I had not even begun to consider... but you do have a point...

    There IS speculation that MvS will be doing voiceover on the trailer...

    The tribulation of the past will veer its vengeance on those

    Those who break the sacred oath of the old republic

    Those who threaten the resurgence of the force

    No telling how credible, but these days everyone and my neighbor's dog has a theory on the trailer... to actually quote lines, however...

    That was the original (unused) concept... and that concept has been linked to TFA and MvS... nobody knows how credible that is, but I think it has a good feel to it

    Jason Ward has him more in line with a "montross, extended cameo" sort of deal

    Dengar makes perfect sense to me for a few reasons...

    First - as far as movie canon - he was sent by Vader to track down Solo - so if you only went by the movies - it would make sense that he might be secretly keeping tabs on Solo's kid - maybe even still trying to get to Han (or even Luke for that matter).

    Second - his expanded canon details makes the connection even more credible imo
    For example - to his description:
    "Following a grievous injury sustained at the hands of the smuggler Han Solo during a swoop race through Agrilat Swamp on Corellia, Dengar was rebuilt by the scientists of the Galactic Empire as an assassin, augmented by various neuro-implants and cybernetic enhancements and being void of all emotions besides rage, despair, and hope."

    Sounds like an old cybernetic drunk sitting at a bar on some desert planet dreaming of the glory days would fit that description.

    As much as it's extremely far-fetched... I actually enjoyed the silly rumour of MVS playing a aged Boba.

    It gave the slightist notion that just maybe, just just maybe, Disney would consider it as a spring board to evantually remake the prequels, which would have crashed the internet and wallstreet. :p
