SPECULATION Luke isn't the last jedi

You ask for evidence, there it is! Palpatine is shown to be loved! People are chanting his name like he is the Messiah! And Anakin tells us the senate DEMANDED he stay on. Why would that happen if he wasn't admired?
Some people also cheer Obama, some not. Those arent evidences by any mean.
They demanded him to stays because they thought he will end the war fast and thought he would resign. However they didnt really have any reason to admire him... Unless they were incredibly stupid.

So those were only baseless accusations are you now disprooving yourself here?
All others could be lies from the evil crazy guy. And also political intrigues in the center of politics? What a great suprise... Thats how every system works, my friend.
And Amidala wasnt refering to corrpution, only to slowness. She wanted fast action but she didnt get it. The Senate wanted to examine the accusations of Amidala. That dosnet sound anything like corrpution to me. And she said the courts are even slower, which is also not suprising considering how slow our courts are in the reality.


Palpatine said it was in self defence. He said the Jedi were trying to take over.

Are you trying to justify every stupidness of the movie? Because this conversation have no purpose then.
Srsly just because 4 jedi attacked him that mean every single jedi must die? Even the kids? Burning down their temple is also necessary?

No one knew he just marched in there and killed them all.
That makes even less sense. 1, They did it in broad daylight in the capital of the Rebulic as Padme clearly saw it, and I guess Republic media, and space internet also. 2, I guess the absence of the jedi would call for some attention


But he had already won. He had taken over. And all the powerful people were in his pocket. He kept the senate and the senators, who were aligned with him, continued to rule their systems - until ANH when he dissolved the council permanently and put his own governors in charge. How does anyone keep their Empire together whether they be a dictator or crime boss? Money and power. No one dared go against him.

You should've told that to the people during the french revolutin. Or the hungarians or polish when they revolted against the soviets in 1956. Or the people who revolted against the Austrian empire in 1848. Or the other 100s of examples of deaths of unwanted goverments.

And also he did not win anything. Some senators support him, than what? How will the people also do? How will he govern an Empire which is established on deceiving some senators? How will he enslave thousands of star systems? Even if it would be possible (but its not) After the galactic war I really doubt the Republic's economy doing well...

And again, if Palpatine has so much power than why cant he physically weaken the jedi? Not just mentally. As I guess the shroud of the dark side made them unable to see that the sith lord they are looking for is probably not Dexter Jetster, but the maniac who tries to take over in the front of them...

No, Palpatine was not lying - he was presenting the truth to Padme. This is clearly inidcated when Mas Amedda speaks in Valorums ear - Padme sees he is being influenced by the bureaucrats.

Eh? I'm saying how Palpatine lied to make it look like the Jedi were evil and that action needed to be taken against them.

And Padme seemed to accept Anakin's story about Jedi treachery. No-one could actually see what was going on.

When i saw this scene - - i said, to myself: "What the Blast!?!? She never EVER said that, in the first 3 Star Wars movies. She never said it. PERIOD!!"

Yes he is. In the opening crawl they tell us that Luke is the last jedi and that is why they are looking for him.

 

Great post BUT I think she's been made very well aware of it all by her brother after ROTJ since Han has already known so much about it and Leia knows Snoke very well APPARENTLY and sent Ben Solo to directly go train with Luke Skywalker, her brother .

 

Well Rey will probably be trained by Luke. So if two makes an order I'm completely okay with that. My guess is that all the Jedi are dead, otherwise there would really have been no need to find Luke in episode VII.

 

Snoke is GRAND MOFF TARKEN!! Grand Moff Tarken was in the very FIRST Star Wars movie ((episode: 4 - - a new hope)) - - ((just a theory i have...)) Hey ... that is how Leia knows Snoke.



Another theory i have is: Ben ((Kylo Renn)) & Rey are brother/sister.

1) My guess is: Rey is 10 - 12 years YOUNGER than Ben... ((probably HALF brother/sister - don't quote me on that, not until the next movie.))
2) My other guess is that Han & Leia ADOPTED Ben, when he was a BABY - to make him a Solo. They would have ADOPTED Rey, as well, but - - after Ben went to the Dark Side, Leia had to put her foot down & PROTECT Rey, (protect her from her brother), Ben.

Leia is gonna CONFESS something big, in the next movie!! "I CAN FEEL IT!" i think she ((Leia))'s the AUNT... Ben & Rey are both SKYWALKERS, by birth.... they belong to Luke. ((Kind'a like LUKE & LEIA belonged to Anakin/Darth Vader))


******** i know - - Leia had Ben train UNDER her brother, Luke... maybe that was a mistake, seeing how Ben went to the Dark Side & killed his ((adopted)) father, Han Solo, at the end of this movie ((TFA)).


Star War's is a FAMILY SOAP OPERA!! ((Skywalker Family Soap Opera)) to tell you the truth, this is the only SOAP OPERA i will ever watch, and ENJOY!

 

Snoke has supposedly been around since before The OT, too .

 

i don't believe that Snoke has been around since before Star Wars - Episode 4: ANH...

 

To be fair, he didn't just march in there and kill them all. They marched into his office and asked him to stand down and that's when he killed them and claimed "self defense" and everyone was none the wiser .

You DO realize that Tarkin was literally incinerated nearly 45 years before TFA...right ?

 

The FORCE is strong in this family... Luke's father ((Anakin/Darth Vader)) has it, Luke ((Skywalker, himself)) has it, Luke's sister ((Leia)) has it... AND, a new generation ((Luke's children)) have it.

i'm sorry - - but, that is why Kylo Renn went to the DARK SIDE!! the FORCE is strong in his family.

i know that!! but, people in SW don't nessarily pass over THAT easily - - somebody could've FORCE CHOKED Tarken... and he could've made it out alive... more powerful than Darth Vader ever was... Tarken/Snoke could still be alive!! We will just have to wait til the next movie!! :O)
