Where/what is your source? I've said from the get-go that it makes no sense to make Mark Hamill grow the insane beard (that got longer and longer during production, mind you) if they are going to...cover it up? Luke will be a cyborg...but will still have and grow a human beard. Makes no sense.

 

So many people come in here with what they claim to be inside information. I have a hard time accepting unsubstantiated errant speculation as decisive fact. Judging by your screen name, i would say your looking for attention; which is really OK (to share your ideas), but I don't like to be taken for a gullible fool. If im wrong about you please excuse my indignance, but I wholeheartedly doubt the subject of this thread is based on any real knowledge of Episode 7.

GET A LIFE!

Whoever gave him a clouded, it seemed pretty clear to me. We'll know next month if grocery stores start carrying Vader-themed Kraft products. That's about the most easy-to-verify claim anybody's ever made on this forum, and you rated it clouded? I don't see how he could have made it any clearer, honestly.

Whoever gave the first post a trolling rating, what is possibly trolling about it? How is revealing spoilers trolling? ISN'T THAT WHY WE'RE ALL HERE? I can understand the trolling rating when spectacle said Viral Hide was wrong, but I see nothing in the original post that deserves a Tuskin Raider.

And who gave this guy a Jar Jar? His spelling, grammar, and the cohesiveness of his ideas seemed fine to me.

Now I realize we all have ways we want Episode VII to go. We hope certain rumors are true. But slapping a new guy with negatives for claiming our favorite rumors are mistaken is petty. We handled the question of racial stereotypes and Gungans with so much maturity... how did we stoop to slapping negatives?

Please give spectacle either the benefit of the doubt, or the time for his predictions to be proved or disproved. And he's new; give him a little grace period.

 

Fair enough, but don't you often get a feeling that some of these posters are just having fun with us?

PS... i didnt rate him negatively, i use those buttons quite sparingly

 

Personally it matters little if someone can corroborate a story or somehow describe their source.

I put more pressure on the content of what they bring. Is it plausible? Does it make sense with what little is known? From my end, spectacle's post does seem plausible. The only hangup is the beard... Why grow it? What purpose would a cyborg have with a beard otherwise?

But outside of that one minor bit, it is all within the realm of possibility. So rather than chase him away, let's pat him on the back and hope he brings us more.

 

Would it shock you to know I rarely read the spoilers? I spend most of my forum time reading the OT and PT pages. Sure, maybe some of the people here ARE just having fun with us. Rumor has it that J. J. Abrams is having fun leaking disinformation, too. But even if spectacle is leading us in the wrong direction, I wouldn't know. I won't know which rumors are true and which rumors are false for another 410 days. Some of you here have inside sources, some of you pretend to have inside sources, and some of me can't tell the difference. It seems pretty irresponsible of me to throw negative ratings when I won't know anything for certain until December of next year.

I rated a Trolling rating because there have been a ton of people coming on here giving information that contradicts many rumors and says he got it from Making Star Wars' Jason Ward. So Jason comes on here and said it was crap. Or Viral or one of our other more trusted leakers like Kyle will say that it's false. Another instance a kid saying he has inside info when it turns out it was just his speculation. So until I hear something confirmed from another reputable source I view the OP as trolling.


EDIT: I have retracted my Trolling rating.

 

it is possible that luke is the phantom of the opera fom the pics, and still not be a cyborg. Maybe the charcter was ment to be a cyborg but now he just have a mask....or it. s just j.j. making fun of us

Luke is not a cyborg. I will try and share more tonight. And I finally glimpsed the concept photo/art of Luke holding a GREEN lightsaber in the direction of Han. It was blurry, but badass and I'm hoping it will make it's way online soon.

Sorry, Spectacle. I'm siding with Viral and others on this only because I have finally seen it with my own eyes, no matter how distorted the picture was, it was Luke, and there was nothing cyborg about him. I'm not saying you are trolling or making it up, and I could still be wrong, but I would stand firm that Luke is Luke, no matter how screwed up.

You say you are one person removed from your source and that the middle person isn't as interested...but we are lol.

 

Driver is after Boyega, thinking Boyega may have been the apprentice of Luke. Fate put Boyega and Daisy together, and Driver is after them both by coincidence, or the will of the Force---you choose.

 

You say Daisy is Luke's apprentice. If that is no true. Would that invalidate all your other rumor?
