This was a take on "The Force Awakens", and what it could mean... I theorized that with all the consciousness merging in with the Force, what if the Force was starting to get a little conscious? I was running with your idea of being annoyed by all the dead people :)

Ha! Leave it to me to not realize when I'm getting some semblance of 'props'. Yeah really, if the Force gets so mundane that it's compelling you to pick up soy sauce on the way home, then we might need a reboot.

    Good stuff yo.

I always liked to think that the reason Han finds Luke on Hoth was because he was heading straight towards something he could see through the blizzard, which would have been Ben...
Suppose the flipside of that is, Leia doesn't seem to see them at the end of ROTJ, and she is Force-sensitive...

I'd say it's kind of a choice on the part of the person with something to communicate to someone, who they communicate that to. It's easy to imagine only Luke could hear Ben's voice in his head at any given time "run, Luke, run". It therefore makes just as much sense that only Luke could see the Force ghosts in TESB and ROTJ, because they were visions for him specifically.

To the galaxy at large, the Jedi, Sith and other Force-users are probably just psychic ninja, oblivious as they are to the influence of the Force. That explains Han Solo laughing at the notion of the Force, but accepting Luke can do some interesting party-tricks - Han will have experienced all sorts of 'strange stuff' on his travels and to him, psychic powers are perfectly believable, but not being a religious person, belief in the Force is quackery.

JJ secretly being a clone of George Lucas would be the ultimate troll. KK is also a secret clone of Rick McCallum. Both dudes just control their respective clones via Kevin Smith's basement.

I wore it out on your posts. Teehee. (Runs)

Just kidding. I appreciate your wisdom and humor in equal parts. It's a nice balance. I tend to get bored of people who are one-note... Always trolling or ALWAYS seeking to WIN some strange nerd Olympics by being first to guess the insignia on the fifth pirate's cape in pre-production artwork 'impressions' based on a near-sighted deaf mute's take on designs based on the 4th draft of a script that's since been scrapped by JJ's third cousin twice removed. We get it guys, THIS means everything to you. Just stop and smell the roses sometimes. Have a giggle. Be a human. No one likes a know-it-all, even if you're right 100% of the time.

Those posters are the worst IMHO. The most irritating is the guy who randomly posts 'exclusive' updates from his 'source' which amount to poorly written summaries of the last week's worth of stories on MSW and this site. That guy... infinite face palms special edition on him.

The thing is, how everything works has already been established:

The Jedi are (or can be) many in number, but their compassion, ultimately, is their weakness.
Big groups of Sith are unstable, so there have to be few of them.
So an army is needed for the Sith to suppress the Jedi.
Droids don't quite cut it, hence the clones as a (slightly) more effective army.
And that is their only need for clones in this saga, they are just cannon fodder. That system is still (on paper) in place and works, all that is missing after the OT is a figurehead to replace the Emperor.

"Cloning" Jedi/Sith just opens a whole can of worms and doesn't really solve anything - we just need someone with evil intentions, be that another fallen force-user or whatever. That is all that is required - I don't see how cloning anyone serves the story more than the obvious solution of there just being a new, charismatic evil-doer to pick up where Palpatine left off.
This trilogy was always (if anything) going to be about the struggle to restore order after the chaos. All we need is another chaotic element to make that struggle happen. The galaxy may have been "freed" in one sense, but the forces of good and evil are still kind of starting from scratch here, either to maintain that freedom or turn it on its head...

In my opinion anyway. Clones of Luke/Palaptine or whoever would just be a messy solution to a relatively simple narrative problem...

I would agree if there were any clones but only as a "high security" for either Empire or Rebel leader. you know like there are only 4 clones in the galaxy so that makes them special, also their training is very good so rebels or stormtroopers are pretty much no match for them which makes them a really good security for their leader
