Here's a Spoilerman update...not a lot that's definitively wrong...yet. Maybe he knows the BEATS? And feel free to move this to a Spoilerman thread. Just helping @Leiicious

Summary of the juiciest bits: MOSTLY WRONG
-Dystopian, darker than ESB
-Oscar Isaac's character is a badass pilot with the surname Darklighter! Get hyped. Biggs' son perhaps...
-Yavin IV appears
-Gleeson is Daisy's love interest.. He's a scoundrel... Han's archtype was split between Gleeson and Oscar's characters
-Lupita is Boyega's love interest, and one of the Jedi Luke has trained over the years
-Nien Numb is back Vhlor!
-Lando is mentioned by Han, sill famous, still pimpin'


Biggest mystery that remains: MAYBE?
Who is the cyborg holding the skull? It's apparently someone who is not force sensitive and appeared in the PT. People are guessing it may be Boba Fett, Commander Cody (WTF!) or a clone of Qui-Gon. That last one could be very interesting considering Qui-Gon could have been Anakin's true father...

After RoTJ the war didnt end, Imperial Remnants only fell back to a 30 year stalemate war of attrition. CHECK

Luke Skywalker has been in hermit mode and training a handful of new students since then, but he fears for his future, and as he reaches Yoda levels of power, he becomes more and more secluded. MAYBE?

There are three major characters related to the Sith.MAYBE?

Driver's character is an ambitious fighter jock who is Force sensitive, who will eventually fall. MAYBE?

Serkis is an alien Sith.MAYBE?

Sydow is a cyborg from the prequel era, half human half machine, who is not force sensitive but for some reason collects artifacts that have been at critical points during the previous films. MAYBE?

Gwendoline Christie plays Boyega's commanding officer.
She is an inquisitor revealed in ACT III.MAYBE?

Luke appears in ACT II ala Obi Wan dropping the hood in a new hope. He survives the movie, all shitty rumors regarding anything bad happens to him are fake.MAYBE?

Boyega and Ridley are basically colleague jedi in training, they will be Luke's padawans per se.MAYBE?

The treatment of VIII states that Oscar Isaac's hot shot and Daisy get close mirroring bad boy-strong woman thing in ESB. MAYBE?

Han and Chewie lift Boyega, Sydow and Daisy off world. MAYBE?

It's not until ACT II is Kira revealed to be Han’s daughter. MAYBE?

You have to understand this is a far far far darker movie than the prequels. CHECK

Everybody is languishing and sick and tired of the phony war between the New Republic and the Empire. MAYBE?

Luke has been missing for more than 20 years, there are no Jedi in the open, but rumors are abound that he has trained a couple in the 3 decades since Endor. MAYBE?

(RE: cross-hilt saber) That is Driver's shitty saber. CHECK

It isn't until Serkis does he make a good stable saber. MAYBE?

He (BOYEGA) is force sensitive. He defies orders like Han did 40 years ago, and is hunted as a deserter. He will be one of Luke's 2 new padawans. MAYBE?

Isaac inherits the falcon in VIII MAYBE?

RoTJ basically wasnt as happy as it seemed when ending. Disney totally revamped post-endor stuff. MAYBE?
The war has been going on for 30 years, hot and cold sometimes, and the Empire, though Emperor-less is run by Inquisitors and the military. The scrolling text details the ongoing turmoil in the galaxy. How the fall of the Emperor left a void of power, and how the heroes of Endor went into seclusion or kept fighting. MAYBE?
Oh and Chewie has a robot right arm. MAYBE?

Luke comes out during the beginning of Act II, Han and Leia know he's alive above a MonCal ship they imply they are the only ones who know where he is. MAYBE?

Serkis' character is implied to have trained Palpatine for some obscure purpose. MAYBE?

Han might live. But VIII and IX are implied to be with the new generation dominant MAYBE?

Throughout the film Han is in love with Boyega's decision to defy evil orders and ruin his career in the Imperial military. Han went through the same thing when saving Chewie, so he's mainly the guy who vouches for Boyega MAYBE?

The main scoundrel of the series is Gleeson. MAYBE?

(Sirkis alien sith) is implied to have been a Sith exempt from the rule of two. Would go into specifics but can't, because its ACT III revelations. MAYBE?

Yes luke basically becomes the Yoda of the new series with power to match. MAYBE?

I'm curious myself as to how cool Hamill can look on film regarding Luke being the apex of a Jedi Master.

Yes its (big baddie or hooded baddie) not Plagueis. EU is killed by Disney. MAYBE?

(RE: Snowy scene) That is Adam Driver looking for Serkis CHECK

(RE: Cyborg holding Vader’s helmet longingly) Thats Sydow. MAYBE?

(RE: MvS) He is a guide for Kira, a sort of kooky prequel era historian cyborg, his real identity will surprise a lot of people. Yes. Sydow's non-cyborg form is in the prequel films as a character. MAYBE?

Cant spoil Act III.

They are building a superweapon on a Scandinavian-esque cold forsaken forest world. CHECK

(RE: Saber fight scenes) Theyre pretty solid, written by Kasdan as minimalistic and powerful.

Luke basically shuns the lightsaber and doesn't draw it until-- ACT III which I cant spoil MAYBE?

He is a sort of sidekick, mentor to Kira. Informs and educates her on the prequel history of things. ACT III reveals who he actually is. Right side of his skull is a cyborg. MAYBE?

Gleeson, Boyega, Lupita, Isaac, Ridley, Chewie and the droids are basically the new big 6

Yes that is where Driver seeks Serkis' Sith Master character. Though the Sith isnt aligned with the Empire. They are not a single unit. MAYBE?

Inquisitors arent Sith, they are not Jedi either, they are dogs, hounds used to track down force sensitives, and they are implied to have assisted Vader's cleansing. MAYBE?

Oh Luke's in-film reveal will make an undeserving shitty Abrams into a folk hero.

The scene in the script is a sort of full circle of Obi-Wan's first appearance MAYBE?

Chewie is in VIII as far as the treatment goes. MAYBE?

Gleeson is not a bad guy. MAYBE? but probably WRONG

Vader also makes an appearance in flashback sequence MAYBE?

Isaac is an ace pilot, he's been fighting the Imperial forces for years now, his last name is Darklighter YES AND NOPE

Ball droid is Kira's, the classical droids are with her mother MAYBE?

Sydow's character is both (good and bad) MAYBE?

Sith Master's aims are different than Palpatine's, he isn't human. MAYBE?

(RE: scene with blue alien and saber) No idea, that might be a scene where they light Luke's old lightsaber from ESB, I dont recognize the little alien. But thats Kira MAYBE?

She's a tomboy tough girl who keeps her identity to herself to keep trouble by association away. MAYBE?
She is force sensitive but rues the fact that her GOAT Jedi Master Uncle went into seclusion before training her. MAYBE?
She worships the events of the past, helps the Cyborg collect stuff from those eras thinking it will lead her to her uncle. MAYBE?

(RE: Lando… the only discrepancy as earlier he stated Han mentions him, but here SpoilerMan seems to say we see him… unclear) Lando is a go, I dont know if BD Williams will play him or if he gets another actor, but he is in the script MAYBE? but probably WRONG

A lot of this stuff was talked about before Bozoman came along.

Devin Faraci talked about a superweapon being built on an ice planet back in July 2014. And that was well after the Iceland filming was known about.

I think Jason Ward is an unknowing dupe that Disney has been using to keep most of the plot of the internet. They feed him bits and pieces to make him seem like the most credible outlet of information out there. The Disney machine would have already had him shut down if they were really worried about his spoilers ruining their movie. The only logical explanation for some of his spoilers being right, is that he is purposely being spoon fed spoilers by Disney. Only they are directing what is getting out. Little tidbits of nothing important...

 

The han rumour is nothing important? The lightsabre being key to the whole movie is nothing important?

 

Shop owner: "Our shop keeps getting broken into, burglars keep taking cash out of the till - how can we stop this?"
Employee: "Why don't we give one person a tiny portion of the money out of the till each month as a gift? And then this person can tell everyone about how great it was to get the money and what they spent it on..."

Does IT matter ? IF the leaked plot turns out to be true, then i am happy, IF IT turns out to be disinformation & the plot is totally different, then i am also happy, because then i Will be surprised With everything that happens. But i kind of hope that the leaked plot is true, because i like IT. & à movie can never be spoiled for me in advance, because i am very interested in how They tell the story visually & how IT is Made.

 

I respectfully disagree. I don't think they are providing misinformation. The info MSW has presented so far is broad information with so speculation to fill in the wholes. However, even the broad info is more then just tidbits. I posted earlier on this thread how a lot of the trailer and some of what was said in the interview with Isaac, Ridley, and Boyega matches up with what MSW reported. While Jason has not handled himself well on numerous occasions either in forums like these or on Twitter, I wouldn't completely ignore his spoilers.

 

Which han rumor? And the stuff about the lightsabre hit several website at roughly the same time, although different variations on the story.

 

I didn't know where else to put this and don't feel like making a thread.

Only becomes important if Han is really killed by Kylo Ren...I still have serious doubts that it is true.

 

I agree with you one trillion percent...Let's explore this rationally and look at it...

We will have been waiting for 32+ years to see the further adventure of Luke, Han & Lea on the big screen by time TFA comes out, does anybody really think JJ & Kathy are gonna make a new Star Wars movie after all these years and have Luke only be in one scene? at the end? C'mon, man. They aren't that stupid. The backlash would be so HUGE it would make people forget about Jar Jar and the whole PT entirely...

Really think they're gonna have Mark Hamill grow a beard and go over to London for 6 months as a ruse to throw the fans off? Again, it'll piss off everybody and talk about an angry mob!! Plus, do ya really think that Mark would go along with it? These aren't stupid people, they are people who LOVE Star Wars and the fans and they know how angry we'll all be if Luke is only in the final scene. Hell, I'd rather have 'dark side Luke' than no Luke...

Also, notice how the MSW leaks have little to no tangible info about Gleeson's character? or MVS? Or Serkis? All speculation and filling in blanks. They are leaking him info they don't mind getting out and keeping the big bad secrets quiet. Why isn't his source divulging who Serkis is? or Gleeson? Or MVS? it's because Bad Robot & LucasFilm don't want that info out...

one more thing... if MSW is really correct then they are spoiling TFA by giving away the plot details and we know how crazy JJ is about holding things back and protecting info, so you'd think it'd REALLY be pissing him off that some jerk is out there spoiling the movie, right? Then why would Disney give JW a 3rd row seat at the TFA panel? I'd think they'd make sure that MSW wasn't given a media pass at all since they are then main site spoiling the movie, but no he got 3rd row. Maybe I'm wrong and he just stood in line all night and ate JJ's pizza and got a good seat...But I think his ego is too big to sit there all night like that. He'd need a nice cushy bed to sleep in and some room service...

I expect ol Luke to be in more than 1 scene. Major screen presence throughout the movie, no, but there it is....cue the naysayers = "its an early concept piece of Rey's saber." Luke WILL save the day. Anybody not getting that on intuition alone doesn't get the pulse of SW fans.
