She was specifically asked about the The Force Awakens and said she was talking about that one movie. She has said that she was specifically trained for what she is allowed to say and like the other cast, is under NDA. Moreover, she said that she likes the secrecy and surprise factor. Actors mislead all the time, look at HBO and Kit Harrington's behavior before Game of Thrones Season 6. Look at Carrie Fisher trying to lead people away from thinking Han and Leia were married on Twitter back in 2015.

Abrams and Hidalgo are both playing the same semantic word games along the lines of "Darth Vader and Leia weren't Skywalkers in 1977's Star Wars". A true statement but misleading.

Palpatine put Plaguies in secret chamber on Jakku to do experiments on his body. Rey poking around as she always does awakened his Force Spirt that is now awakening in Rey who previously had no Force sensitive at all. Rey is becoming Darth Plaquies resurrection.

Rey Plaguies will rule the Galaxy at the end and no you cannot unread this theory now =).

 

Rey is the reincarnation of a beloved gungan character from The Phantom Menace.

Darth Plagueis is a codename for Jake Lloyd, both had their careers terminated by The Phantom Menace (Sidious)

Rey is actually Jabba the Hurt come back to venge his death by killing Leia. He would have squeezed her to death but Chewy walked by and ruined it.

I have a brand new theory, I've just made up right now.

Ep VII was more a introduction for new characters in the old universe and we don't know much of the plot yet. This means there are many characters who I think will make this trilogy we don't know yet.

I think the main plot is the journey of Rey becoming a jedi and her searching for her origins. This means we will know about it at the end of ep IX and it will include people we haven't seen yet. She will be with her master Luke during this whole trilogy and they will develop a paternal relationship but he's not implied in her lineage.

Here is the theory.

Before Kylo Ren turned to the dark side, Snoke had a apprentice, a dark one, he was brutal, powerful with the force but he made a mistake. He had a child with a former imperial servant and this child was his weakness because he was really attached to her. His link to the light. He hated everyone but this little girl.

Snoke knew about it and asked him to sacrifice his child to full embrace the dark side to let go any compassion out of this world but he couldn't do it. So he asked a bad guy he knew and who has a debt with him Unkar Plutt to take the girl and to make sure noone ever find her and know anything about her.

He then pretented to Snoke he killed her.

Some years after Snoke decided to change his apprentice ( for whatever reasons ) and he took Ben Solo instead. Ben Solo knew the story and had to kill Han to match the former sacrifice of the fallen apprentice.

This apprentice is still around there trying to avenge himself from Snoke and Ben Solo and he will be a big part of the plot of the trilogy.

Darth Plagueis has truly found the secret of eternal life by living in fan theories for ever...and ever....and ever, that's the twist of this new trilogy.

I imagine, somewhere in 2027, Star Wars Episode XIV, a new character called Bataboyt Klawn is introduced, a part humanoid, part cyborg character... I'll bet you 5 Trump-dollars that we will have a thread called: Darth Plagueis IS Klawn.
