SPECULATION Rey's return

I agree. I mean, I wouldn't mind if he was made a part of the story, somehow, if it was done in a meaningful way, but I do not think it makes a whole load of sense. Broom Boy was a symbol and a plot device, and I think he can go on quite well remaining that in the SW universe.

 

Broom Boy! I love this concept together with what Filoni said about training to be a Jedi, thus cementing my favorite idea from TLJ, that has been overshadowed by blood feud in TROS.

If a New Jedi Order is being set up, then Broom Boy definitely has his place in it. I'd like the classic Star Wars easter egg, of having this guy as a side character if there will be more Jedi with his backstory added onto guidebooks "trained with a broom in secret, encountering a pair of rebels set him onto path to train to become a Jedi."

Which is actually a cool long running Star Wars thing instead of some of the recent mystery box approaches and quick last minute pay offs.
But I will repeat myself. Ahsoka wasn't the 10/10 show the fans hoped for, but it was solid and fun with some hickups here and there, but definitely a step up from Mando S3 and this movie is a huge opportunity to go beyond the Jedi vs. Sith feud that got briefly revived for 40ish years period after 1000 years and explore the galaxy without heavy presence of Empire, Imperial Remnant or First Order.
Sure, the galaxy is cluttered with remnants of the recent wars and the Jakku wreckage has lost it's magic, but I assume that it is still a huge space of opportunities and options to explore beyond.

 

So yesterday I was on IG and a fan pointed out that the script writer Steven Knight, in addition to writing Peaky Blinders (which I have not watched) also wrote Taboo (one of my favourite mini series) . I have also just begun watching another series he produced called SAS: Rogue Heroes. From what I I have seen so far in these shows here is my guess

Rey's Jedi Order will consist of a bunch of outsiders/iconoclasts/mavericks who are independent and who either don't play nice with others or who can't be easily controlled. Expect to see force sensitive and non force sensitive's in the bunch.
There will be some government official/power broker who will want to put down the new order before it gets started because they feel the Jedi will interfere with whatever malfeasants they are involved in.
Rey will be outed as Palpatine's granddaughter and will be forced to flee or from leadership
We will see some brief flash backs of young Rey with her family
Rey will fall to the darkside due to some betrayal
The Cartels will show up in some form either to help the Jedi or to take them down
Ben Solo will re-emerge, to save Rey.

 

Two 'leaks' I heard of.
Rey will have a child, the result of a Force pregnancy who will be the 'balance of the Force'
Rey and Finn will have a child, who will be the 'balance of the Force

Both sound terrible, so in all likelihood will be fake as...whatever. But, you never know.

 

I heard the rumour that the galaxy is going to shun the jedi / force completely and that's the starting point of the plot

 

Crikey, sounds like the plot of a fanfiction I wrote while slightly drunk! I've been plagiarised!

 

A.I. are isn't art, and it's not done with the "help," of anything.

 

I've thought about this as well. It would be a natural reaction after 50+ years of chaos caused by powerful force users. It could also be th reaction to other force users who aren't following the Jedi way and are using the force for their own self interest.

I'd be careful labeling anything as "not art." AI is just another tool, one that many people don't understand, and one that still needs human input.

 

Rey's return from where? College?

Maybe she'll have a few tattoos, dreadlocks and a e-scooter.
