Snoke's commanding ship maybe is something else than Eclipse.

But,we know Eclipse existed after battle of Jakku and served as gathering point of the First Order in the unknown regions.

I think it will be awesome to see that First Order has modernized old Emperor's battleship, and still uses this old lady to, together with more modern ships including Snoke's "flying wing".

Afteral, I think First Order needs every capital ship available.

Just like for instance US navy modernized old ww 2 Iowa battleship and pounded enemies even in 1990-s.

Cool factor out of the charts.

I can only hope it will be something to behold, the might that the First Order has procured. It might be coupled with a level of fanaticism that we have never seen in a Star Wars. We are all products of our own surroundings. The First Order children that grew up in the Unknown Regions may be a nearly unstoppable force. I've spent a good bit of time this afternoon reading about the history of the Unknown Regions. The powers that could still be dwelling there haven't been seen in film yet.
