    Tru but it's only a year extension & I suspect there will be break clauses in the contract I.e the Honder engine is still a complet mess next year as it looks like they will be the RB engine in 2019.

    You've got to love the F1 engine penalty system (otherwise you would just cry at its craziness)

    TR newcomer Brendon Hartley has got a 25 grid penalty (in his first race) because his car previously drive by Kyvat needs new engine parts. But Kyvat himself Is replacing Carlos Sainz for this race so gets to drive his race penalty free

    Iam right there with you he could quite easily out qualify Kyvat but start at the back of the grid because of this. The only bright spot is hopefully he will keep his place & get to race the final 3 races penalty free.

    That would be a interesting way of developing a renewed interest in the sport particularly in the US market.
    Unfortunately it won't effect the UK market as SKY will have exclusive right to the coverage so it looks like the UK which is a major market for F1 & is the base for the majority of the teams be s***** again thanks to BE past deals.

    But that my whol point from 2019 - 2024you will have to pay for sky sports to watch F1 (something I really don't want to do). Now if they introduce a F1 only add on to my NOW TV package then I might do it but I don't really want to pay for a full SKY Sport package just for F1.

    lol, I was sure that constructor and driver titles would go to the wire this year.. I am confused as to how Ferrari and Vettel have managed to rob us of that.

    To be fair Stroll s lucky his car is still in one piece as I don't know how Grosjean missed him & Magnussen seams to be on a mission to hack off every driver on the grid.
