I'm looking for a Snoke/Kylo one with "raw and untamed power", but haven't found one yet

 

I'm not going to condone Kylo Ren's behavior.....am not even going to say that he was groomed from birth by Snoke is justification for all the things he did....hell, I'll even go so far as to say its understandable Luke had that temporary lapse of judgement when he saw the darkness within Ben Solo and ignited the green. But...

The theme is Star Wars is hope...not just finding hope but giving hope to others. Kylo has done really bad things but we have seen the glimmer of light within him from time to time, whether not telling Phasma and Hux about Finn's inner conflict, trying to stop Snoke from blowing up Hosnian Prime (he even offers to get the information from Rey once again to avert this), not shooting at his mother on the Raddus etc.

I think Reylo can happen if Kylo realises that his idol Grandpa Vader was a sad angry man mourning the loss of his beloved wife, and not some power hungry monster...there is a chance he might see the light upon this realisation.

I don't think it is the duty of a 19 year old girl with her own miserable past and issues, his unhappy mother or his force ghost uncle to save him- he needs to save himself.

So if he does come to his senses, saves lies and brings hope to others, then it would be understandable if Rey falls in love with him and wants a future with him....but for that, he needs to clean up his own act first.

 

I love this. Anakin/Padme allusions are abound in throne offer between Kylo/Rey (both say don't do this to him). JJ has said PT influences IX, and I'd love for Kylo to discover story of Anakin and Padmr-why his grandfather became the way he is, and take it as a lesson! For strength!

Just as long as he doesn't take dating dialogue from them. No Kylo, telling Rey you love sand isn't the way to her heart.

 

yeah her introducing herself to poe does not equal romantic sparks. Especially when it just highlights yet again, that RJ never watched TFA.

 

Between Rey and Kylo, there is a certain fascination with each other, maybe even attraction.
But nothing close to love though, that needs to grow out of positive things happening between them.
And there were not a lot of positive things happening between them lately.

But sometimes, when the circumstances are right....enemies CAN fall in love with each other.
We'll just have to wait and see.

 

I don’t really see it as romantic development, but more development leading up to what you are ralking about. I.e redeeemed ben.

But we’ll see.

 

It depends on how the story continues.
Their scenario is a unique one we haven't seen before in SW, it can go many ways.
