SPECULATION What is Rey last name ?

or maybe Rey is short for a longer name like Reilly but she only remember Rey (she was young when her parents left)

If we go on what TLJ has given us at face value, it'll be a new name. Or she adopts an old name like Skywalker or Solo as has been suggested. As I stated before , I don't think the writers or creative crew knows yet, so any answer could be right.

And yes, before you vote down, these names are purposely corny haha.

 

That feels a little too touching. I am still partial to Rey with no last name and Finn with no last name having a baby who is given a name. Obviously its going to be Han Skywalker.

Here's what I learned from TLJ ...

It's better to be the child of dead alcoholics who sold you to a junk dealer for booze money rather than be from a family of heroes, because one of those heroes might try to murder you in your sleep, thus transforming you into a villainous, patricidal maniac/ruler-of-the-galaxy.

Who would've thought Unkar Plutt would've ended up being a better parent than Han and Leia? Good for Unkar. It looks like his tough parenting really paid off.

 

Unkar is underrated as a parent I agree.
Also I would like to throw my mighty influence onto the scales to give Simon Pegg a real face-time role in IX.
Guess will have to be FO tho - dat accent.

I totally sympathise with this, there are a few great moments, like Rey in the elevator with Ben.

Sad part is it's all overshadowed by some truly awful decisions.

I should not be bothered this much, I mean, it's a film for heavens sake. I really really really really wish I could have loved it..

I imagine it's easy to to say haters go to hell. But I imagine like me, this film was like a broadside shot from a cannon for a lot of fans.

Painful.

Just curious. I speak to people and they tell me they liked those scenes but didn't like the movie. I think the "feeling" of the movie is a downer and is hurting the overall impression.

P.S. Rey will take the last name Solowalker, in honor of Han and Luke.

 

Rey Coors? Coors is a very popular white trash beer.

 

More of it bummed me out than I enjoyed. I wish i could learn to enjoy. I got over it more second viewing, but it was resignation, not enjoyment.

 

Definitely Coors or Busch for a desert hillbilly.
