How Episode VIII should end in your ideas?

Yeah no more "hero gets captured and needs saving" plot please. That's way too similar to the ending of ESB for my tastes. Also you've just taken your main heroine and turned her into a complete damsel in distress for the two MEN in her life to have to save, if you do it Galen-Marek way.

 

This will never happen but..

Kylo Ren is again defeated by Rey. Snoke, through some careful and emotionally based wordsmithing (no "Complete your destiny" Palpy stuff, but something more personal) offers Rey his position. Perhaps events have strained her relationship with her friends in the movie.
Rey accepts. Snoke orders Rey to kill Kylo Ren. Ren somehow manages to escape.
Back at a trashed and burning resistance/republic base of some kind, a familiar shuttle appears. Kylo Ren has done the unthinkable. Kylo Ren has come home. He throws himself upon Leia and Luke's mercy, putting us in an emotionally awkward position. Luke, in echoing Snoke from TFA, decides it is time to complete Kylo Ren's training.

The sequence of events shows us Snoke as the suave seducer, and seeing that Rey is a very gullable person (she's not very good in the social skills department) this can be easily set up with pulling the proper emotional levers on Rey throughout the movie. Han already warned Kylo that Snoke will dump him as soon as he is of no use to Snoke's machinations. This brings everything full circle.

Effectively, the protagonist and antagonist 'switch jerseys', and where this leads us into IX is two fallen jedi, one trying to redeem himself and one trying to amass herself more power. And pending on whether Snoke is DP or not, it could be for the purposes of resurrecting her family.

Again, this won't happen for a whole variety of reasons.

 

I would have to spend a long time coming up with something I'd be satisfied with. Come up with 20 endings and eliminate them one by one until one was left. As of now, what every body said. I have no clue what I want.

EDIT: OK I'll humor myself. Just brainstorming. VIII has been described as weird.

What if Snoke is Plageius. According to Sidious he can even keep the ones he cares about from dying. What if Luke is killed somehow and Snoke/Plageius immediately uses the dark side to sustain his life.

For instance Kylo takes a cheap shot at Luke as he did Han and stabs him through the heart while all 3 are in Snokes chambers doing monologue. Snoke yells, YOU FOOL!" and force pushes Kylo about a 100 feet into a wall. He immediately approaches Luke and summons the dark side power to sustain Luke from dying.

Kylo is confused. I thought we wanted him dead? Why does he care about Luke?

I don't know just a quick weird thought. And then after he has Luke stable he explains everything to Kylo, whatever it is. Then over weeks uses the dark side to nurse him back to health as well as chat back and forth with him now and then. Then they close with our heroes knowing Luke has been captured.

 

That would be interesting! I would see Snoke using that power to simply demonstrate the power of the dark side to Kylo Ren. He would probably use it on Hux or some other commander. That would be a great reveal!

 

Thanks. I just came up with it real quick to post something. If fleshed out properly I think it could work pretty good. Even if Snoke isn't Plageius, maybe Snoke learned the power from him or by some other means.

It would also allow for some great dialog between Luke and Snoke and Kylo. If it happened half way or three quarters through the movie. Or towards the end I guess and save all the bantering back and forth for IX. I don't know.

 

I think Ep. VIII-IX will end both on the darkside. for some reason i think they will make Ep. X. just by how the PT and OT went the next one will end with the darkside taking advantage of whatever the situation they have for Ep.8. I think Kylo will enhance his training and be more brutal in his ways. it will be him being uncontrollable. will see

It should end just like ESB for the heroes and just like AOTC for the villains .

 

You should probably take that theory to the romance thread, it would look great among the Poe/Finn and Kylo/Hux romance theories.

But seriously speaking, as I was reading your post, I was literally thinking that you were going for some Luke/Snoke romance story. Please don't tell me that was what you were going for, because either than that, I like your theory.

I mean seriously, think about the pillow talk between the two... *shrugs*... now if you don't mind, I'm gonna puke.

Ezra comes out of hiding if he lives through Rebel's with his and Sabine's kid and they join the Resistance and we see the Ghost and guess where they are hiding thats right on Lothal when the Resistance is loosing you see it came out of hyperspace and destroy Tie-fighters and we see Finn start to get training from Ezra and Kylo Ren kills Snoke and if Rey turns he trains Rey

 

I think it should end with capture of a important character like in TESB with Solo & another's vow to find them followed by a sith moment near a temple

 

They freeze Finn in carbonite.

 

Why would the mention of 2 men talking strike warning signs to you of the two being gay?

Anyway, no. It would be a good way for the viewer to get some back story on Snoke and his philosophies.

Yes, why does he care about Luke? Perhaps it's because... HE LOVES HIM!?!?

Why doesn't he want Luke dead? Perhaps it's because... HE LOVES HIM!?!?

Why does Snoke not want to confront Luke and instead prevent anyone from finding him? Perhaps it's because... HE LOVES HIM!?!?

Sure you deny it now, but in your subconscious you know that Luke/Snoke is the new Han/Leia of the trilogy.

That is one bad ass picture. Lets pretend Luke is captured by the means I stated earlier or any means whatever you prefer. And they bring him here imprisoned on like a hover craft platform of some kind. After seeing Snokes extremely powerful dark side powers he is marched slowly to the temple. He is looking around seeing all this.... oh man! Gut check time!
