How Episode VIII should end in your ideas?

From JJ Abrams' notes:

"Poe watches on as Rey's new mechanical hand is attached by a medical droid.
Then, both go to the Resistance starship window and watch as Maz Kanata and Kelly Marie Tran fly off on the Falcon to embark on a mission to rescue Finn from King Prana's clutches."

"Leia watches on as Ren's new mechanical hand is attached by a medical droid.
Then, both go to the Resistance starship viewport and watch as Rey and Finn fly off on the Falcon to embark on a mission to rescue Luke from Snoke's giant toilet bowl."

 

The movie starts out with Finn executing a mission on the "gambling planet". He finds trouble and is being pursued by knights/first order? after he makes contact with "new young lead girl". Movie cuts to Luke and Rey training on ach-to. Rey feels a disturbance that calls her to the same planet as Finn. Characters eventually unite. Then it cuts to Kylo and first order infiltrating resistance command. Kylo approaches Leia and she uses the force to stop him. He starts to force choke her but is eventually stopped by rebels/Poe. They manage to escape as the resistance is being overrun. Leia falls into coma. "New lead resistance leader woman" assumes charge and is in despair. Spells out doom for the crew so Poe takes charge. Movie cuts back to Luke, Rey and Finn. They leave the planet to seek out Leia & company. Movie cuts to Kylo telling snoke his success in snokes base/ship/castle? Snoke introduces "del toros character"(Ezra/knight/sith?). He tells them to finish the last of our heroes. Heroes seek refuge on new planet(new republic/resistance base). Kylo/Del toro seek out heroes on new planet. They sneek around and kill guards, get to Leia. Kylo kills Leia and injures Poe in the process before Rey and Luke arrive. Luke injures Kylo, Rey kills del toro. Kylo escapes as first order approaches and the heroes retreat. The resistance is all but destroyed and the first order now has little in its way. Snoke tells Kylo his training is complete.

Not another cliffhanger!

Ha, just kidding. You know we wouldn't have it any other way.

Seriously though, the wait between VIII and IX will kill us.

 

I am expecting a cliffhanger, however it would be nice if there would be a little bit of closure mixed in like episodes 2 & 4.

 

Everyone involved has repeatedly hammered home two details about the film: its darker and weirder than it's predecessor, and it will do things that are a first for Star Wars as a franchise. The first detail is exciting because it means the film is (probably) moving in the proper direction. The second means we can breathe easy and stop assuming the film is going to be a carbon copy of ESB. The break-neck pace of The Force Awakens was a great way to introduce the broad strokes of this new era of a galaxy far, far, away, and now the sequel needs to flesh it out beyond the basic conflict between the First Order and the Resistance. Luckily for us fans, TFA already gives us some hints as to what will be expanded upon in the next film, and basically all of them could fall into the category of "darker and weirder".
Dark Side Details
•Elaboration on the motivations and back story of Supreme Leader Snore, the most gruff goose fetus in the galaxy
•First real appearance of the Knights of Ren and a better understanding of how they serve the story
•Are the sith going to return in some form or has the dark side rebooted itself?
First Order Follies
•Their current status in the galaxy; they may have blown up the republic but they also lost their planet sized space gun that was covered in vehicles, troops, resources etc.
•Do they consist of a real standing army/navy with lots of ships and troops spread through out the galaxy or are they a very successful terrorist cell that will struggle to pick up the pieces after its last defeat?
Republic repercussions
•we know literally nothing about the republic besides the fact they thought Leia was a wrinkled old war mongerer. Now that they lost their seat of power, I assume the remenents of the republic will be new players in the sequel, hopefully their first move is to kiss leia's feet in apology
Scum and Villainy
•Ducain, the Irving Boys, King Tuta; there is a whole host of gangsters and pirates that could become involved in the sequel in some form or another. I'm hoping they go with King Tuta, he never got the rathtars he was promised, and his name sounds like some kind of crime mummy, ala Dangar.
•Bala Tik, the sweaty space Scotsman with the bad haircut, will probably pop up again in some capacity too, hopefully this time with a more diverse band of pirates. I don't mean to go on a tangent here but I would much rather look at a gang of rodians, trandoshans, and mean droids, with maybe a human or two instead of the red leather fetish brigade we got in the final film. Did anyone else feel like there weren't enough cool aliens in the movie? I digress.
The Jedi: Fact or Real?
•This is the big one. What was going on with Luke? What did he find at the first jedi temple? How far did he get in the creation of the new jedi order? Does Luke have padawans hidden through out the galaxy or is he truly the last jedi? Was love allowed in the new order, or is Luke a 55 year old virgin? If ANY of these questions aren't answered in episode 8 I will personally find JJ Abrams and lock him in his mystery box.

This is basically all I can come up with on the top of my head, but it's already clear that Rian Johnson and friends have a lot of material to work with and expand. what would you want to see more of on this list? Also I know there are plenty of things I missed so feel free to come up with some other things you would like to see episode VIII elaborate.

 

Finn takes up Luke's green lightsaber, and uses the force to fight Ren this time he says "This is for Rey!" who had her leg, and one of her eye's cut out, and this time he kills Captain phasma who tries to stop him from fighting Ren

 

It's King Prana

 

VIII/SPOILER :

Rey fathers up the remaining leaders and creates a "fight club" against The FO.

Luke trains the remaining soldiers. Our new heroes become "generals" for the resistance but are forced onto Dubrovnik and have to escape the clutches of Snoke...however Phasma's soft spot for Finn helps her become a mercenary just like Bobe Fett and she personally kills Hux and Kylo is killed but Ben survives and goes into hibernation just like Vader in ANH with Rey trying to find him and Finn becoming a politician and a symbol for the good of the first order and Poe taking care of political command within true resistance and acting as a "do as I act" type of a role.

 

Crap I liked King Tuta...well that's what happens when you write posts at 3am

 

One good twist would be Leia acting like Palpatine ( take the lead of the Republic ) with the help of Ben and pupetting Snoke from behind to rule the galaxy as mother and son.

She could fake to be kidnapped and send a major trap to the republic feet by sending a SOS for a deadly ambush and then start a major war, take the power of the senate and if Ben kills Snoke, he will become the one who made the first order fall.

That could be good politics there.

 

I wonder will episode Viii end with the guys together and in a new status quo.

A New Hope ended in way that you could create many stories, comics and book adventures about our heroes in between it and ESB. Some, like the comics, they're still doing today.

The ending to TFA, the good guys are apart with Rey meeting Luke and away from everybody else. I figure their first talk will be too important to cover in a book or comic.You've got Finn in a medically induced coma. The status quo is too in flux for new EU writers to do something between it and Episode Viii years from now.

Even with the prequels you could make a whole cartoon series between episode ii and iii.

I wonder will that continue at the end of epside viii.

 

Rey has lost in a lightsaber battle against the fallen Jedi, Ezra Bridger. Kylo Ren attempts to kill Luke but can't. Snoke injures Kylo Ren for not killing Luke when he had the chance.

 

It should end with Rey wearing this expression when she learns that Greedo is her father and that he somehow survived Han's blast and is still alive somewhere.

 

Or that's her face when she realizes that she's Luke Skywalker's father.

 

Oh God don't scare me dude! I hate that theory of her being a reincarnated Anakin and I'm pretty sure it's going to be my face that will look like hers if they decide to go threw with the transexual Anakin plot.

Final Scene Episode VIII:

MUSIC: BINARY SUNSET

LUKE, REY AND CHEWBACCA WITH FINN, ARTOO, BB-8 AND THREEPIO STAND ON THE CLIFFTOP OF AHCH-TO ISLAND IN SILENCE AND WATCH AS THE EVENING SUN SETS BELOW THE DISTANT HORIZON. THERE IS A FEELING OF SORROW AS LEIA'S LIFELESS BODY BURNS ON THE FUNERAL PYRE. ORANGE LIGHT FROM THE FLAMES FLICKERS OVER THE FACES OF THE GROUP.

THEN FROM BEHIND, UP THE STONE STEPS, AN UNEXPECTED VISITOR SUDDENLY APPEARS!


"Surprise!" smiles Han Solo, striking a cocky pose. Faces stare at Han in shocked silence.


IRIS TO STARFIELD AND END CREDITS AND MUSIC

 

Thread title: How Episode VIII should end in your ideas?

First: a grand decapitating scene of the bad guy with Luke as the executioner, thereafter him killing off the whole ST cast.
Including maltreating of Han's dead corpse.

After that: Luke self-anouncing himself as the new Emperor or crowning himself as the new King of the Universe, something like that.

And IX gets canceled, that would be a big bang - disclaimer post is not meant serious -
