How Episode VIII should end in your ideas?

Ep VIII will finish with Rey learning that Luke killed her parents.

 

It would be terrible but also horrifically fascinating if Episode 8 managed to bleed away all the goodwill and fanboy hype Episode 7 generated. It won't happen, but still.

 

I want it to end with a traumatic turn: Rey passing to the dark side and Kylo being redeemed. So, in Ep.9, I want the villain to be Rey.

Has anyone played Mortal Kombat 9 until the end.
Substitute Luke for Raiden and Rey for Lui Kang.

 

Snoke has just been assassinated/betrayed by Kylo Ren who has now seized power as Leader of the First Order.

Kylo Ren ascends up a staircase towards a throne masked in shadow and slowly and ominously sits upon it. Beneath him, at the bottom of the staircase, kneel the Knights of Ren awaiting command. Hux is standing at the edge of the room, his expression neutral and guarded.

Scene switch to protagonists with Resistance/NR fleet:

Luke, looking tired and defeated, sits near the bedside of a comatose Leia. Rey, Finn and Poe stand in the background, exhausted and demoralised. Suddenly Leia wakes up, everyone's faces light up, and she groggily looks around and pauses, overwhelmed with emotion, when she recognises Luke. He looks at her with an expression full of sorrow and utters these words:

"I'm sorry Leia. I failed him, I failed you."

 

Between Maz and Chewie.

 

No...that's for ep 9.

Kylo and Rey

 

It ends with no dialogue, just the music with the images telling the story and then the credits

 

It ends with Luke taking the Falcon to fight Snoke before he's sucked in to a black hole with the falcon. With most of the resistance dead, the leftover heroes have nowhere to go so they travel to Maz's place.

Maz asks what would you do to bring back wicked Luke, even go through the weirdness and death of a black hole. "Would you do it?" She asks.The heroes each say they'll do anything.

Maz says okay. But to bring him back you'll need a captain who knows that area of space.

The cast is then told that Billy Dee Williams will walk down.

Instead Han Solo walks down alive.
"so tell me, what's become of my ship. Ha, ha, ha." Chewie growls as the credits roll.

 

It should end with Rey & Leia injured with Finn & Luke watching them both, Kylo removing his mask then throwing it away before looking up at the stars with his eyes full of tears, Poe promoted before giving the order to hit lightspeed to a unknown destination, Snoke entering a sith temple disguised as a mountain.

 

Wait, a mountain disguised as a Sith temple? Or a Sith temple disguised as a mountain?

 

Ah shoot that came out wrong, my post has been edited, I know it's sounds like I'm trying to save everyone for the episode 9 but that's my hope.

 

I'm not sure about about Epsiode VIII but Episode IX will end with what Carrie whispered to both Graham Norton and Jimmy Kimble.

 

So then I would assume that Episode IX opens with our heroes on the planet that Kanjiklub hails from. And then Maz turns into a giantess.

 

Can I add to that (and go further down this amazing rabbit hole)? Right after Luke admits that, he and Rey fight and Rey loses a hand against him. However, Rey wins the fight and Luke Skywalker is killed. She then goes with Ren and/or Snoke to study the dark side and recuperate (It's ok, He'll come back as a Force Ghost in Episode IX).

 

R2-D2: "Beep boop bleep pew pew" (No, I am your father)

episode 8 will end with Rey back in her old home on Jakku.. scratching a new mark on her wall.

it was a beautiful, but poignant moment when we saw her there in TFA. i can easily see bad news driving her back there... if she was to receive bad news of course.

 

I wonder which characters will be together at the end of the film. TFA ending with Rey, Chewie , R2 and Luke on Ach-to.
Thinking back on the first teaser in November 2014, who would have thought those particular characters would be grouped together.
