Kylo is a Liar

I think we need to let go of the Rey Kenobi thing. Kylo isnt a liar to me, hes more driven from doubt that people has given him. with Luke, Snoke, and now Rey. Even with Yoda saying he is lost and save Rey, that only helps the SW saga cause Yoda says alot that factor into the saga. even with the scene with Luke.

Kylo will be supreme leader or SITH and we will have the knights of ren among his group of possible SITH.

 

Yep, I agree with RJ too. Great moment for the character to think she's nobody and develop beyond needing family.

Back on topic - because that wasn't an answer -

Why did he say that today?

How come he didn't confirm Random and said that it could change if JJ want's it to? And that what happened in his film is what those characters believe in the moment?

Think a bit, before typing. Honestly...if it was so cut and dried as you all say...the answer should've been pretty quick and simple.

And you know it.

 

Rey has probably been told as a teenager that her parents are two dead alcoholics who sold her. In other words: She cannot know if that is true, but she can believe. She was a kid when she was separeted from them and probably doesnt remember very much. She doesnt want to believe such things about her parents but deep inside she does. So the word "believes" is unimportant.

I was talking about how if they do try to change RJ's decisions, it'll be royally messed up. Chris terrio was amazingly terrible when paired with Snyder, and all his films since Argo were terrible and even that film has gained a subpar reputation, and while he might not be as bad with JJ, he'll really f*ck up the ST if he tries to rewrite TLJ's conclusions. Trust me, the man can't write his way out of a hat.

lol I am tempted to type something snarky but I wont - not looking for arguments.

 

Don't argue. Just be funny, I'm being relaxed about this (except for Rey Solo) and am just making fun of the people in charge of IX. Terio really is terrible. If anyone else, either remotely competent or at all good,was co writing with Abrams then I'd be open to a change if it was well written enough around TLJ's theme.

But it's terio. So no one wins.

 

This is a red herring. Kylo telling Rey was designed to manipulate her. Looking at all of the cues

Snoke clearly used the same thing against Kylo. Kylo picked up on this and wanted to try his hand at it with Rey. Prey on weakness or weak points in your opponent to exert control.

Kylo was playing that string all along.

Something tells me that there is still much more to this that we will find out in the next episode

Once again: Kylo believed in what he was saying.

 

This may be true indeed, I am not arguing that point, but there is no denying he was using it (regardless of it's basis in fact or not) to manipulate Rey. I believe he does not know for sure, yet he believes it. Emotionally broken people with a goal in mind, tend to not care about facts rather than manipulation mechanisms.

Kylo could care less if it was true or not, he knew it made her feel less of a person at her realization of what he said as true. She didn't know anymore than he did, but it sure did suit his goals.
