I'm certain MSW's call sheet is missing a few spoiler-y scenes, most likely with Luke. For example, the picture of Ren, Han and Luke that Kyle has seen I'm sure is from the flashback. The reason it makes no sense to us is because there's a few scenes missing. I'm guessing hoping we'll see a few seconds of Luke fighting and disarming Kylo Ren during the flashback and Han stopping Luke killing him...a mistake, spelling bad new for the galaxy.

Kylo slaughters the academy and flees, Luke appears and does that sad head bow with R2, cuts to Luke fighting Kylo he cuts off his right arm, Han jumps in "kid, please don't" cuts to Han in real time, he knows he's made a mistake but couldn't let his son die. Flashback continues...

Remember everyone saying Luke looked like a crazy old man? That's from this scene, he flipped the feck out after his academy was slaughtered and he wanted revenge, he's hiding now because of how close he got to the dark side, if it wasn't for Han he'd have fallen

The robotic hand that leaked very early and the concepts of Kylo Ren has a robotic right hand, that was from this fight

Finn consoling Han about kylo Ren in the falcon is him sympathising with him for not letting Luke kill his son

I have no inside info but based off of everything we've heard I'm certain that's roughly how it plays out

Call me reaching a bit, if we believe @Kyle isn't lying, does anyone else think I'm onto something here?

    I'm pretty sure I've cracked it :D

He'll be in one scene and it'll be glorious!!!!!

This film will be from the general perspective of Kira/Finn/Poe and so to them Luke will be this legendary/mythical character so in the film he needs to have a massive aura of mystery around him. I can't *wait* for the final shot which inevitably will be Luke removing his hood and the thunderous SW theme kicking in with the credits. Oh boy!

For that one scene he needed to be 3 days shooting with Daisy on the island? Why they didn´t do it in London? Pretty expensive to move the crew and the actors, if she only enters the cave and give the sword to Luke, don´t you think?

    This scene will be magical

You can just picture the sweeping panoramas of Skellig island then the final scene!

My allegedly confirmed source just gave me a heads up about Luke's only scene in the film. Here's a passage from the script:

Rey walks up the stone steps, and places the lightsaber into a pair of hands.. the camera then pans up to reveal the face of Luke Skywalker.

    "Thanks."

    CUT TO BLACK

Hi guys, I was on reddit the other day (yeah, shoot me) and I came across a post that was titled something like "Proof for MSW". I can't find that post now, but I did find the page he was linking.

    http://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/2m5ga0/mark_hamill_interview_on_the_death_star_set_of/

The link went to the Star Wars reddit page, which was a 1977 interview with Mark Hamill. What's interesting, though is the comment at the bottom. If you look at the one that says "21 children" that's the thread. Essentially, the poster, who claimed later he was drunk, was saying exactly what MSW reported that made us almost destroy the internet. The poster was basically hinting that Luke was only in one scene of the movie; but here's the thing: it was about three months before MSW's report. Here's some screenshots of the poster's comments:

    Screen Shot 2015-06-01 at 9.24.31 PM.png Screen Shot 2015-06-01 at 9.24.54 PM.png

I hope this isn't true, but...

This "news" is a bit disturbing. I have never heard of Mark being such a problem on a film set. And why would he do this returning to SW? Is he one of THOSE actors?? Maybe the source was seeing Mark crazy because that was him in character?

Then why is there a scene in the second teaser with him kneeling down next to R2 with his robotic hand on R2's head? I am starting to think that idea of Luke only being in the final scene is bogus. And I'm starting to instead believe the rumors about there being a Sith tomb that Luke is guarding. After all, an "awakening" has to happen in this film. Can't happen if we don't see Luke till the last shot of the movie.

Here's the original thread from SWleaks. Deleted for some reason.
    https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsLeaks/comments/380zlr/found_some_possible_evidence_for_msw/

Curious, if nothing else. MH certainly, on the surface, hasn't come across as described here in interviews, tweets, etc. that have been leading up to TFA. Rather, at least on the surface, he's seems very laid back about it all.

The closest I could find to him expressing anything along the lines of "not wanting to be there" would be from some point during SW Celebration.

    http://globalnews.ca/news/1947441/mark-hamill-said-he-was-suspicious-of-j-j-abrams/

Even that comes across as clearly tongue-in-cheek. I am a believer in the one scene theory at this point in time. But the reddit post seems questionable at best in that regard.... Not the first time this has been said, i'm sure.

    This
This reddit post has been brought up a few times in the past. Here's why I significantly doubt its authenticity.

    1. I've never heard anything but great stuff about Mark as a person. Could he be a drunk? Possibly. But it hasn't impacted anything until now, so why would it start here?
    2. Major productions like Star Wars don't change a script in mid-stream because an actor is being a problem. If that were the case, Christian Bale would never work. Nor would Alec Baldwin. Sean Conery. Edward Norton. Harrison Ford. Jack Nicholson. Or any of the other famous actors you hear about "difficulties" with
    3. Never trust any former employee to tell you anything truthful about their former place of employment. This guy has bitter written all over him.

IF (and this is a big if) they decided to cut Mark's scenes for some reason. It was likely because they got him back on the set for the first time in 30 and found he didn't have the chops to pull off the part anymore. If that were the case, then it was likely the right decision. I'd rather have limited Luke than poorly acted Luke. We don't need another Karen Allen in Crystal Skull on our hands.

But more likely, this is just a bitter ex-PA who Mark looked at the wrong way one day who's trying to take out some revenge by posting rumors on the internet to disparage what by all accounts seems to be a good guy who loves being a part of Star Wars.

Everything I've ever heard about Mark Hamill is that he is a complete class act... So it bothers me as well. I always pictured Carrie being the dificult one....

I could see Carrie being difficult because she's so damn sarcastic. Harrison being a hard-ass, too, but Mark?

I read the JW Rinzler book The Making of ESB (best book I've ever read I highly recommend it btw) and apparently Carrie was very childlike and immature during filming. The crew wasn't too fond of her. Later I believe she was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder so it's understandable that she would have difficult times.

I still think we'll get more then one screen time with Luke.

1.When Rey, Finn, Han, Chewie, and Maz do a Force vision flashback. Where we see a scene of jedi academy, and Luke with R2.
    2.Luke guarding a Tomb scene.
3.Luke towards the end doing battle with Snoke and Kylo Ren.

All I believe we're getting and Luke will have more screen time in episode 8 and 9. This one will be about Han having more screen time because its his grand send off.

My two cents.. My I got a bad feeling about this moment... hehehehe

I was just thinking about how ironic it will be if the one-scene rumor turns out to be true. A lot of people voiced displeasure a while back at the possibility of TFA not using George Lucas's ideas, but the one thing fans seems most upset about is something Lucas himself came up with (Luke having a cameo to pass on the sword, according to Mark Hamill). lol
