Yavin is just a jungle planet.

Takodana, D'Qar and Naboo are water, grassland and forest planets.
Takodana and D'Qar also look identical.

Boring... I hoped that we will get something more unique.
Naboo is great, but I do not need another Naboo, we already have Naboo.

From space, D'Qar looks almost completely grassland. Takodana and Yavin 4 are tropical jungle planets. Naboo is about half grassland, half tropical and lakes.

really because Takodana seams to have a lot of forests similar to yavin but not as dense while D'Qar has hardly been seen just some shots of the resistance base which is appears to be in a grass plane put to say two planets are identical based on a few shots seams a little premature

It still hasn't been confirmed what the planet's name is that Luke is on, has it?

I'm still hoping that Skellig Michael is Rakata Prime. They look rather similar, and Rakata Prime is on the "Planets of TFA" map, so who knows....

I will say that I am disappointed that Leia didn't put the Resistance base on Naboo, which is basically the only 'home planet' she has now.
They practically set it up in the Princess Leia and Shattered Empire comics, I was like... what the hell is a D'Qar?!

    I agree.

D'Qar could have easily been Naboo.

Because Naboo is New Republic territory. You have to keep in mind that the Resistance is not linked to them (publicly, at least).
