Then she should instead slap him around and say stop whinning be a man and go into exile to atone for your sins by doing good if you cant be happy and do it for as long as takes till you can accept all you did.

She is kinda good at that. Telling people what is the right thing to do. Look how she handled Luke after he told her that this is not going to go the way she thinks. She offered him the lightsaber so that he would man up and stand against the FO. He declined so she decided their best chance was Ben.

 

How ironic would that be? She gets Luke out of exile and Ben into exile. I like it. Haha! But I really hope Rey isn't needed for Kylo's redemption. Kylo needs (and I do think he will) redeem himself.

I dunno where I picked it up but I remember reading he was involved with that somehow. I could be wrong though my memory is not what it used to be. I'll research when I get back from business trip so I can add a disclaimer to that post if i cant find anything

Well, the point I really want to make is that love is good and natural, maybe even inevitable for a moral person. While forbidding someone to love is oppressive, sadistic, and a cruel form of mental slavery.

Rey pretty much rejected him when she rejected his proposal to rule the galaxy together, but anything could happen, as we've seen in TLJ.

 

She rejected ruling the galaxy with him while he was still being driven by his anger and rage, she was clearly torn up about not getting Ben to come back with her though.

Read the novelization section on when she contemplates having the chance to kill him again. She says her mistake was assuming his choice to turn would be easy, that he was an instrument of the will of the Force too, and that his life is not hers to take, that she would wait for him, no matter how long it would take.

 

I just got TLJ "Steelbook" blu-ray and the artwork on it. I love how their sabers are pointing towards each other. While the tips of the blades blend together.

I dont think that even the morally concerned antis can deny reylo any more.
Anyway, the question is no longer is there or isn't there something but rather how far will they take it.
And the other day I met another person that still thinks/hopes they are blood relatives...I was like O_o...how can anyone still think that after RJ officially saying that their touching hands is as close to a sex scene that you can get in SW.
I find it specially amusing that he said it about the scene in a movie where you get 2 other charachters actually kissing

 

There's still people who don't see/are in denial of the romantic thing in TLJ, I've even read that the force bond scenes are proof that they are siblings because in the same movie we have "force bond" scene with Luke-Leia.

Some people still think that we will have the sibling/cousin reveal in Episode 9, but the fact that Abrams was using phantom of the opera/fairy tales prince and princess tropes for Rey and Kylo is a huge proof that Rey was never a Skywalker in Abrams' mind, well because he never liked the Luke-Leia kiss (Leia was not the sister of Luke until the making of Episode 6) and because Disney won't allow incest between the 2 main charactetrs of the new trilogy.

Even if they kiss in Episode 9 there will still be people saying "nope, nothing romantic between the two, and I'm sure Rey will be revealed to be a Skywalker in Episode 10"

 

I'm almost at the point that I find it funny that some people choose to actively ignore the signs that these two have a little thing going on. The question now is only how far they will take it in IX and I personally hope it's far.
