Help me to understand what redemption can erase this fact.

Han and Leia want(ed) him redeemed. This is everything you need for a redemption. => Characters believing in Ben Solo.

 

He should die from heart attack the moment he realises what he has done..
If Ben became what Han and Leia wanted him to be,the same moment he should die of consciosness for his acts.It was he who done it.

Kylo's redemption,and him to stay alive,can not be made anymore without massive moral and logical fallacy that would became mark of such film for eternity.

 

so you basically want to honor Han and Leia by disregarding their last wishes?

 

Ben never wanted to become that what his parents wanted him to be in the first place. They kinda forced him. Who needs redemption now?

These movies are mainly for kids and kids don't care about stuff like moral and logical fallacy.

 

Kids absolutely do understand "morality" and right from wrong.

What they don't understand is that certain things are absolutely unforgivable even if you work really really hard to repent and atone. It's like telling a kid that he or she'll never be the president because the odds are clearly against such an outcome. I mean, you're probably right... but it's also a blast move. A child's world is and should be infinite- in its possibilities and forgiveness.

 

Your last wishes people.

Han and Leia's, as well as Luke's wish is for Ben to be with them in eternity on a light side.In the Force, which is only thing that really matters. His soul to be redeemed.

Its about soul people. Kylo is saying to Luke on Crait..."Did you came to save my soul?"

Not to became redeemed and,now as a honest man with conscience and memory for entire life to die within himself slowly with stigmata he killed his own father, and effectively betrayed galaxy to.

Yes, he must be redeemed as they whish,we all wish , but this can be only made in a way a Lucas has established for Anakin.

Redemption, and than death , anything else is not real, moral, logical.

I mean, I do not have a shadown of a doubt Disney would make Ben redeemed and stay alive as a lover of Rey, since mob wishes it, and they can close eye on logical fallacy I just noted, because mob pays what mob wants to see, and they already know it.

That already makes bad film.

 

@McDiarmid, the moral of the story is to overcome adversity, right the wrongs, and be a model of hope and goodness.

the only logical fallacy here is you saying Rey + Ben = an "already bad film" (about something that hasn't happened in a film none of us has even seen).

 

Both Han and Lando had redemention arcs. Lando sold out his friends to save himself (he was lucky he didn't kill Han) and Han was a scoundrel and a smuggler. You can probably figure out who Han hung out with before Luke and Leia.

 

I didn't say they don't understand it. I just said they don't care. It's a difference. Kids can forgive somebody very easily.
