    You can also here Luke's Nooooooo! from when Vader tells him he is his father. That scene is a vision from that event in time. It does not represent that she was there. The flashback scene was initially showing the path of the blue saber. Then things changed and JJ filled the scene of young Rey late in the game. Other then that scene, all the scenes are tied to the saber. When JJ decided to change course late in production, it muddied the meaning of the flashback. Hopefully the report from MSW
    we will see more of the Forceback/flashback in VIII
    Is correct. Hopefully it will shed more light on rhis sequence.

    yeh I recognise its revealing the path of the sabre, I just think there is more than one purpose being served.
    The sound bite your right shows lukes own shock at finding out, it would also suggest why there is significance between Rey and the Sabre and why J.J felt it important enough to make any changes?
