    And it goes without saying that her original appearance was modeled after Luke Skywalker, as mentioned by someone in the art department. Makes me wonder if we'll see Rey in a Leia Organa-esque outfit at some point.

    Yeh never thought of it like that, theres a good new documentary Inside the force awakens that gives a interesting perspective on some scenes thats worth a watch. Where the actors talk about there views on certain scenes. Heres the link.

    What we need to remember is there is no concept of the prequels view of the Jedi being monk like emotionless beings, controlled aggression is obviously part of a jedi's skill set because, they choose a weapon designed to kill there enemy, thats a very personal way to kill them, one on one. Luke fought with emotion, obi one like wise so....

    Yep that was interesting, we could have seen another trilogy rolling into the 90s, we then wouldn't have need of the prequels

    You do a great job and everything, but none of this is proof of anything. There is too much pointing agains Rey Solo, honestly. What if you see something that just isn't there?

    There are a few absolute facts about all orphaned heroes in stories, movies,etc; their linage cannot be hidden for long and rarely do we see a heroes origin just nothing. At least one parent is revealed to be noble, supernatural or devine.

    Rey has a connection to the Skywalker's, either by blood or by her parents/parent someway, somehow. She is not a nobody.

    I know that, she nearly went that path had the ground not separated her from Kylo, Luke went close enough in the TROTJ as for being examples I think adults maybe included as well.
